The Next Royal Baby Name market has been fired up against after Kensington Palace announced that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are expecting their first child.
Even though there are no further details than that with regards to a due date, it hasn’t stopped punters jumping all over the markets to pick a name of the next Royal. The child is due to be born in 2019.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “Given this child will be in line to the throne, it’s probably a safe assumption that the couple will opt for a regal name that has been used in the royal family over the generations.”
She added: “However, with Meghan’s USA roots it would be remiss of bookmakers to rule out an American moniker featuring somewhere.”
The has been no official due date announced as of yet, but that hasn’t stopped the predictions firing up. Coral have priced up James as the favourite name for a boy at 7/1 odds, agreeing with Victoria at eights if it is a girl* (betting odds taken on October 15th, 2018 at 4:06 pm).
Coral spokesman Harry Aitkenhead told Express that while Meghan and Harry’s royal baby news was expected to come sooner rather than later “it still is creating a frenzy this morning.
“We took a lot of bets on the year that the couple would have a baby, and betting on the name of any Royal baby is always one of the biggest novelty betting events of the year.”
