There was a hard blow to Boylesports in midweek as two punters combined to hit them for over €27,000 on Wednesday’s horse racing action. One of the punters collected over €11,000 from a six horse treble while the other was nearly €16k off a Trixie.
The €15 Trixie across Naas and Nottingham saw the punter collect €15,873.75 in total and if that’s wasn’t bad enough for the bookie, later in the day, the €10 treble by the other punter returned €5,161.88. The selections for the treble were, Bonobo in the 4.45 at Bangor, Mr Top Hat in the 3.05 at Salisbury, Salt Whistle Bay in the 4.30 at Nottingham, Scoil Naisiunta in the 4.45 at Naas, Eagle Creek in the 7.40 and St Andrews in the 9.10, both at Kempton.
