Real Sociedad News and Form – Three wins on the spin for the White and Blues?

Alaves News and Form – Another defeat for Babazorros?

It’s been a difficult start to the season for Alaves, who have not won since the opening weekend. Babazorros, who finished 11th last term, kicked off their league campaign in the best possible way, beating Levante 1-0 at Mendizorrotza thanks to Joselu’s 54th-minute goal.

Since then, however, Alaves have taken just two points from their last four. After drawing with Espanyol and Getafe, the club have suffered back-to-back defeats. Meanwhile, they have scored just once in their last four games and just twice all season.

Last weekend, Asier Garitano’s men crashed to a 2-0 defeat to Athletic Bilbao at San Mames. It was a drab performance by Alaves, who had just one shot on target in the entire match. Raul Garcia and Iker Muniain got the goals for the home team.

Alaves have really struggled in their last few games, and Thursday’s clash in San Sebastian is a big one for Babazorros. Can they pick up their first away win since beating Huesca 3-1 back in March?
