This is the entry point for Croatian side Rijeka in this season’s Europa League qualifiers. Last season they were runner up in their domestic league, by a massive 25 points to Dinamo Zagreb incidentally. They have started their new domestic season, winning three out of three played there so far.

It was in the first qualifying round of this season’s Europa League where Aberdeen started. They took 2-1 wins in both legs against RoPS there. In the first leg of their second qualifying round tie, they only managed a 1-1 away draw at Chikhura. But then the Dons finished the job easily back on home soil with a 5-0 win at Pittodrie. Aberdeen opened their domestic league campaign on the weekend with a late 3-2 success over Hearts.
Even though they have been getting on the scoresheet, there still looks to be some improved sharpness in the final third of the pitch to come from them. Aberdeen are now W4 D2 L2 in their last eight European fixtures. Their away form in Europan action doesn’t make for the greatest reading because it is at W3 D1 L5. In that sequence of games, they failed to score in three matches, collecting two clean sheets. Aberdeen have not kept a clean sheet in any of their last four European away games.
