Scottish Premiership Betting at Betway
We’re not yet in November but the Scottish Premiership is already starting to look a two-horse race with champion Celtic and arch-rivals Rangers opening up an eight-point gap on the rest ahead of the next round of fixtures.
Both clubs are also juggling Europa League commitments so every result from now on will be scrutinised and dissected as the two Glasgow giants go toe-to-toe. Next up for Rangers is a tricky trip to the Highlands to face Ross County.

Ross County vs Rangers Live Stats & Betting Odds

Ross County Form and Team News

Though they are without a win in five matches, the experiment in installing co-managers Steven Ferguson and Stuart Kettlewell seems to be working for the Staggies.
The squad has been overhauled since they last met Rangers with only four of the side that started a 2-1 defeat by the Gers last season still currently on the books at the Global Energy Stadium in Dingwall.
County have drawn three of their last four matches but have lost just three of their 10 Premiership games so far this campaign. However, they were thumped 6-0 at Celtic Park less then two weeks ago and only the two teams currently propping up the Scottish Premiership – Hibernian and St Johnstone – have conceded more goals.
Improvement is need at both ends of the pitch if they aren’t to end up stuck in the bottom six. They were lucky to salvage a point against Hibs at Easter Road on Saturday having trailed by two goals going into the final quarter and a game against Rangers will be even bigger test of their resolve.
Brian Graham and Joe Chalmers both came off the bench to score on Saturday so will be pressing for a recall. Defender Chalmers is County’s second highest goalscorer this season but top scorer Ross Stewart was a big miss in Edinburgh with Billy Mckay looking isolated in his absence. County will need their best team available for the visit of Rangers if they are to prevent the away side taking maximum points.

Rangers Form and Team News

Steven Gerrard admitted that Rangers weren’t at thie best in Sunday’s narrow win over Motherwell but his team keep grinding out the victories.
The Light Blues have only lost to Celtic this season but were held by Hearts in their last away game in the Premiership. It is, in fact, more than a month since Rangers last won an away game so that is an issue that needs addressing if they are to keep matching Celtic.
Gerrard left Ryan Jack, Ryan Kent and Alferdo Morelos on the bench against Motherwell. The latter’s replacement, Jermaine Defoe, scored fort the 10th time this season but it’s unlikely that the manager will ask the former England striker to play a full 90 minutes for the second time in four days in Dingwall. Oluwaseyi Ojo and Andy Halliday could also return to the starting line-up as the Gers’ boss looks to shuffle his pack and rest players without blunting an attack that has scored 29 goals already in the league this season. They’ve only conceded seven which emphasises the tough task facing Ross County if Ross Stewart is not available again.

Ross County vs Rangers Head-to-Heads – Staggies still seeking a first win against the Gers

Ross County vs Rangers Predictions

Rangers have kept just one clean sheet in their last five matches in all competitions. While there are doubt about the effectiveness of Ross County’s attack without Stewart, they have scored at least once in every home game so far this season and can extend that record. The Staggies are 5/6 with Betvictor to score above 0.5 goals. Rangers to Win and Both Teams to Score is 19/10 with the same bookmaker.
