We are into the penultimate day of Royal Ascot betting tips for 2022 as we hit Friday’s line-up.

There is plenty to look forward to on Friday as there are two Group 1 fixtures lined up, which are the Commonwealth Cup and the Coronation Stakes.

It’s a big day for the fillies at Royal Ascot.

We will be taking a dive into each of the seven cards that are coming up from Ascot on Friday.

About Royal Ascot Betting Tips – Day 4

The first of the Group 1 races on Friday for Royal Ascot betting tips is the Commonewalth Cup.

It’s a fantastic renewal of that race with a hot contest expected between PERFECT POWER, EHRAZ and EL CABALLO who look so evenly matched.

The Coronation Stakes is also lined-up to be a super hot renewal of the Group 1 fillies contest.

There is a stack with claims including 1000 Guineas winner CACHET and one of the hottest prospects around, INSPIRAL. That’s just the tip of the iceberg in the Coronation Stakes.

The Albany Stakes and the King Edward VII Stakes make up the pattern company contests for the day.

14:30 Albany Stakes – Royal Ascot Tips

Race Details: Fillies Group 3, 2YO only, 18 declared, 6f

Preview: This looks like being a wide-open renewal of the Albany Stakes this year. First on the list is MEDITATE.

She will be defending her unbeaten record and took a step forward by scoring at Group 3 at Naas on her latest run. Form from that reads well, so she should be in the frame.

FULLY WET is a good one as she produced a fine finish to get off the mark at the first time of asking at Goodwood. She looks as if she could thrive under stiffer conditions.

SYDNEYARMS CHELSEA looked a decent prospect when she won her debut at Newbury on a 6f trip from 9/1. Greenness was obviously there but she got the job done and responded well when more was asked of her.

One final one for the shorts is QUEEN OLLY who was another winning debutant. She got her victory at York having delivered the odds. It was a wide margin so she has plenty to offer.

15:05 Commonwealth Cup – Royal Ascot Tips

Race Details: Group 1, 3YO only, 20 declared, 6f

Preview: We hit the first Group 1 contest of the day on Friday at Royal Ascot next.

This is such a good renewal and at the top of the list is PERFECT POWER who has big claims. He completed a hattrick on his renewal, which was the Greenham.

Perfect Power then was seventh in the 2000 Guineas, simply failing to stay. The shorter trip puts him bang in the mix for this.

EL CABALLO has done nothing wrong in his career and completed a six-timer last time out by taking the Sandy Lane Stake at Haydock.

El Caballo is from a winning trainer and is highly likeable. He has already taken out a chunk of those he will be running against on Friday, this season.

While EHRAZ, after a runner-up finish to Tiber Flow at Newbury, has some claims, along with the latter rival, the final one of the shortlist is GO BEARS GO.

Go Bears Go opened the season with an excellent score in a Commonwealth Cup trial at course and distance in April. He had the beating of Ehraz in that one.

He then went extremely well in the Sandy Lane to take fourth place which was after recovering from a huge setback at the start where he stumbled coming out of the gate.

15:40 Duke Of Edinburgh Stakes – Royal Ascot Tips

Race Details: Class 2 handicap, 3YO plus, 19 declared 1m 2f

Preview: We are up on the trip significantly for Friday’s racing in this handicap contest.

JUST FINE rates as a danger in this one after putting in a nice encouraging shift on his reappearance run.

He took third in a fairly strong York handicap last month. He should only be better for having that run under his belt.

CANDLEFORD has been away for seven months, but he made such a good impression before going into the break.

He had claimed a win over Coltrane at Kempton. He did return with a 6lb rise for that winning effort. The form from that Kempton win is strong so Candleford warrants plenty of respect.

CONTACT has been ticking along nicely this season so also makes it onto our shortlist. He is sitting on a hat-trick chance.

There has been a lot of progressive form from him this season and had plenty to spare in picking up a win at Haydock on his latest. Contact travels well and should be there.

16:20 Coronation Stakes – Royal Ascot Tips

Race Details: Fillies Group 1, 3YO Only, 12 declared, 1m

Preview: The 2022 renewal of the Coronation Stakes is a superb hot contest with claims running deep throughout the field.

As each of the last 20 winners have come from the top six in the betting though, that’s where our focus is.

INSPIRAL is one of the big prospects to look at here as she has answered every question posed to her so far in her career.

She really has looked so good. It’s been an absence of 252 days that she has to overcome, but if she is tuned up, then she’s right in this.

Inspiral landed the Group 1 Fillies Mile at Newmarket in October last year and should be a big player.

The 1000 Guineas winner CACHET also warrants some big respect and sticks with the joke that got her the Newmarket success.

She just went superb in that one, defeating Tuesday who went on to claim the Oaks. So from that, the form reads extremely well.

Cachet may have missed out on the hattrick with a runner-up spot at the 1000 French Guineas to Mangoustine, but she wasn’t far away.

Despite having been beaten already by some of the key contenders in his race, PROSPEROUS VOYAGE should be there.

She is highly progressive and just hasn’t been able to get her nose in front. But she did a tremendous job of trying to chase down Cachet in the 1000 Guineas on her reappearance and nearly did that.

Prosperous Voyage will be better for the run and is intriguing as she tries to turn the tables on a few.

Others that warrant plenty of respect in this very deep field at MANGOUSTINE and DISCOVERIES. Again, it’s a very strong field.

Sandringham Stakes – Royal Ascot Tips

Race Details: Class 2 Fillies handicap, 3YO only, 29 declared, 1m (str)

Preview: There are plenty to get stuck into in this contest and the first one on the list is HEREDIA who has won all three appearances so far.

On her appearance, she put in a very composed and strong finish to take out Espresso in a York handicap. The longer trip on Friday looks sure to suit.

Coming up 4lb is GATECRASHER GIRL who hasn’t stopped improving. She’s just gotten better and better with each appearance.

The latest of those was a score at Doncaster two weeks ago in a handicap. She’s handled the move to this distance very well and is a contender despite the hike.

ZANBAQ has been tried at a higher level than this so far, so connections think highly of her. She wasn’t disgraced in the Listed company run at Goodwood on her penultimate run.

Then she went to a Haydock handicap as the narrow favourite three weeks ago and duly delivered the odds. There’s plenty more to come.

DISCRETION is the final one on the shortlists in this big field as he is heading in the right direction as well.

It has been back-to-back wins for her at Beverley and then last month at Carlisle. The latest wasn’t the smoothest of runs either.

17:35 King Edward VII Stakes – Royal Ascot Tips

Race Details: Group 2, 3YO only, 6 declared, 1m 4f

Preview: CHANGINGOFTHEGUARD didn’t manage to land the hat trick last time out, but there we excuse.

He was a pacesetter in the Derby for a stablemate and just burned out early in that one. Previous to that Changingoftheguard had taken a big and easy score in the Chester Vase.

He’s a much-improved model this year and should go well.

OTTOMAN FLEET is expected to be there as well. He looked good on his debut and confirmed that promise when he took a Listed Newmarket win last month.

Connections obviously saw a lot in him to have pitched up to Listed on just his second run. But he delivered and clearly has more about him.

LYSANDER is the final one for the shortlist in this contest for us as he should unlock further improvement pretty soon.

He was a good third in the Cocked Hat Stakes last time out at Goodwoodood.

That was after taking a novice on his reappearance. Lysander is from a top yard and isn’t without a serious chance.

18:00 Palace Of Holyroodhouse Stakes – Royal Ascot Tips

Race Details: Class 2 handicap, 3YO only, 29 declared, 5f

Preview: We have a huge field to dig through for the final contest of Friday’s Royal Ascot action.

This is wide open and we start with LADIES CHURCH who got off the market the second time of asking. That was in a Listed race at Cork and she beat a subsequent Group 2 winner as well.

RUTHIN ran in last year’s Windsor Castle at the Royal Festival and ran with credit there. There has been a Listed win by Ruthin this season so he warrants some respect.

KORKER is worth a look to after putting his game into action after a slow start to score at York last time out. That was an impressive run under the circumstances.

NYMPHADORA is another to consider after taking a runner-up spot at Chester on her reappearance run. That was a big effort on her handicap debut after a break of seven months.
