It’s one for the juveniles to open the day of racing at Royal Ascot on Saturday.

We are going straight to POINT LONSDALE at 11/8* (betting odds recorded 17:15 GMT on June 18th 2021 at Bet365).

He is out for Aidan O’Brien who has won three of the last five editions of this.

Point Londsdale in his own right looks fantastic, blowing away any hint of competition on his debut win at the Curragh.

Form has been franked and he may be tough to beat.

NEW SCIENCE is worth keeping on side as well. He collected a good win at Yarmouth last month on his debut, getting the better of REACH FOR THE MOON.

Strangely the latter there has been left at long odds for this one and is well worth each way considerations as he is no forlorn hope.

We step up in grade here for a very good-looking Group 3. CREATIVE FORCE certainly brings big claims having secured a recent hattrick.

Charlie Appleby’s gelding has powered his way to success in all three runs this season, leaving his disappointing effort in the Coventry last season, well behind him.

He has looked extremely strong as a 3 year old and his latest score was at Newbry 35 days ago.

The 7f trip looks ideal for him and as the 5/1 favourite in Royal Ascot odds he could take some beating* (betting odds recorded 17:15 GMT on June 18th 2021 at Bet365).

But there are others who warrant plenty of respect. MUTASAABEQ is certainly one of those.

He was interestingly supplemented for the 2000 Guineas but the race didn’t pan out there as he looked green. But there’s plenty of potential to come and he can have a saw.

NAVAL CROWN could easily be another of the big players in this after a good fourth at the 2000 Guineas, while BELLOSA looks a threat taking on the opposite sex.

She scored a listed win over course and distance 35 days ago, making it two from two.

ILARAAB defends an undefeated record as he comes back into action. Willie Haggas’ exciting colt has won all five trips.

On his reappearance at York he just continued where he left off, putting down the power to win by 3l at York.

He brings plenty of big claims here to continue progressing in what has so far been a brilliant young career from him.

Ilaraab has a little more on his plate but warrant serious consideration as a 6/1 pick in Royal Ascot racing odds* (betting odds recorded 17:15 GMT on June 18th 2021 at Bet365).

BROOME also has plenty of potential on his side. He completed a hat trick to open the season and very nearly made it a four-timer. He missed out on that by a short head at the Curragh.

There are some big names in here with the likes of JAPAN, LOGICIAN and MOGUL knocking around.

SIR RON PRIESTLEY is worth considering to bounce back. He missed a hattrick chance in the Yorkshire Cup recently after being far too keen early on. But he is a fantastic stayer and has a good chance at the places.

It has been back to back runner-up spots for Dream Of Dreams in the Diamond Jubilee in the last two editions. Can he make that breakthrough for Sir Michael Stoute?

That’s not going to be easy in such a competitive field here.

There is a big threat in the form of STARMAN who is our pick at 9/2* (betting odds recorded 17:15 GMT on June 18th 2021 at Bet365).

He showed a lot to hold off the re-opposing NAHAAR to land the Duke of York Stakes, taking out others in this field as well.

Starman handled that situation well, responding to whatever Nahaar did to challenge and in the end, Starman had plenty in hand. He looks wonderfully progressive and could be the way to go.

Another who could get himself into this is GLEN SHIEL who needed a reappearance run at the Curragh last month.

There were five wins for Glen Shield last year including the Championship Sprint at course and distance.

We move onto a huge field of 30 declared runners for the Wokingham next in Royal Ascot betting odds.

This is a real trappy affair and we think that PENDLETON is going to be the way to go at 8/1* (betting odds recorded 17:15 GMT on June 18th 2021 at Bet365).

On his penultimate start he was seen at course and distance, just getting touched off in that one. A good response in a victory at York on his follow up put him in the frame for us.

Conditions shouldn’t be an issue for him either so he fits the bill. KING’S LYNN is under a 5lb penalty here after taking on the King’s Stand earlier this week.

He was a little unlucky not to get closer on a respectable run. It’s been a while since he’s taken on this distance.

FRESH is also worth taking a look at after a win at course and distance this season, just getting the better of Pendleton in that contest.

Things didn’t quite go his way last time out at Epsom, but has plenty of potential with Frankie Dettori taking the ride.

FALCON EIGHT brings plenty of appeal to processing in this one. He had a bit of a slow start last time out in the Chester Cup.

But he shook that off to impressively score at the end by a couple of lengths. That was after nearly a year away from action.

STAG HORN isn’t without hope after a good run in April here at Ascot. That was in the competitive Sagaro Stakes, won by Stradivarius.

Stag Horn claimed a fourth place finish in that on a very respectable run.

STRATUM won his reappearance run at Gowran. But his follow up was slightly below par at Navan 55 days ago.

But he is a big stayer and if he is anywhere near top form then he can easily find himself in the mix.
