Royal Ascot Racing Tip

It is a sprint for the juveniles to kick off Royal Ascot betting odds for Thursday.

We are sticking with the favourite CADAMOSTO at 5/1* (betting odds recorded 21:14 GMT on June 16th 2021 at Paddy Power)

He was in good shape to score at Dundalk on his debut. Cadamosto produced some nice speed in the closing stages to just pull away from the rest of the field.

So there’s a fair chance that he can build on that as he heads to Royal Ascot.

One of the others to note in the contest is NAKATOMI.

He looks good but the former conditions could be a challenge for him. But he scored well on his debut at Keeneland a couple of months ago.

Nakatomi’s stablemate LUCCI looks the other obvious one with claims. There was a winning debut for him as well to score at Belmont under no real pressure.

Royal Ascot Racing Tip

We would expect a bold effort from MOHAAFETH at 15/8 in Royal Ascot betting odds* (betting odds recorded 21:14 GMT on June 16th 2021 at Paddy Power).

He was pulled out of a recent engagement in the Derby because of a change in conditions that were putting him at risk.

That was a shame not to see him in that, but he returns for a crack at a four-timer. He has been taking things forward strongly this season.

The most recent of his wins was 27 days ago at Newmarket and he just did what he liked in the contest.

Mohaafeth had the field at his mercy there and just picked them off. He looks impressive for trainer Willie Haggas and we don’t see anyone in this particular field to stop him.

ONE RULER brings strong place claims and comes into action under penalty. He has taken the 6th place finish in both the 2000 Guineas and Derby this year. The drop in trip helps massively.

The other watch in the market is MOVIN TIME who looks to make a good impression at a higher level. He’s on the upward curve.

A very interesting contest for Royal Ascot racing odds on Thursday. There are a lot of strong ones with claims here.

ESHAADA piques interest as she remains undefeated for Roger Varian. She took a big step forward to score at Nearby in a listed contest on her reappearance.

She did have GLORIA MUNDI behind her in that contest and both were on their second racetrack appearance in that one.

There should be more to come from both of them, but ESHAADA takes slight preference at 6/1* (betting odds recorded 21:14 GMT on June 16th 2021 at Paddy Power).

She looked as if she did have a little more to spare in claiming that Newbury won, so we think that she can push on.

Both have to be extremely cautious about the threat of the more experienced NOON STAR in this contest a will.

She is very well-bred and scored in a strong Westbury contest on her reappearance, before finding only Snowfall (the Oaks winner) too good for her in the Musidora.

Royal Ascot Racing Tip

It is all eyes on the greatest stayer of his generation, STRADIVARIUS who is a 10/11 odds-on quote for another Royal Ascot success* (betting odds recorded 21:14 GMT on June 16th 2021 at Paddy Power).

He has won the last three editions of the Gold Cup and with a return to winning ways this season, looks the one to beat.

Things didn’t quite go to plan for Stradivarius at the end of the previous campaign. But he bounced back at the Sagaro Stakes at the start of his campaign.

He took the victory here at Ascot impressively and looked back to his best. He should be even sharper with that under his belt.

It’s hard to see the 7-year-old tripping up in this one. There should be a great from TRUESHAN who had a good reappearance at Chester under his belt.

He was second in that one to Japan, but with a little bit of rain forecast for Thursday, the softening ground could help Trueshan’s chances further.

But it is SUBJECTIVIST who could shape as the biggest threat to STRADIVARIUS on Thursday after bolting up to win the Dubai Gold Cup in March. It looks as if he could be even better on a longer trip as well.

Roger Varian’s colt has registered three wins from three for the campaign and looks to have plenty in hand still from his current mark. His most recent win was at Haydock 26 days ago when he just bolted up.

Others to consider in this massive field are MITHRAS and AERION POWER, the former claiming a good win on a 7f trip in a Newbury handicap.

Aerion Power has banked back to back wins for the season and looks progressive for Sir Michael Stoute. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see him pull himself into the contest from behind in this one.

He arrives for a strong yard and produced a fantastic performance to crush a Ripon field last time out.

It will be the first crack at handicapping for First Light but he has been treated well enough for this opener as he comes up on the trip.

We think that the extra is going to unleash more ability from him the way that he has shaped so far.

SIR LAMORAK also warrants a ton of respect in his contest after winning at 1m 2f last time out. That made it two wins from two for Aidan O’Brien’s colt.

He powered his way clear over the last furlong in a Leopardstown handicap last time out.

NAGANO is another who is having a successful season, winning two from two for Roger Varian. The step up to a mile and half suits and has strong place claims to bring to the table.
