Chile star out in the cold at Old Trafford

Alexis Sanchez probably wishes now that he would have made that move to Manchester City. Instead, he ended up at Manchester United and he has looked a shadow himself since he arrived at Old Trafford from Arsenal, part of a deal which saw Henrikh Mkhitaryan go the other way.

Sanchez has already been called out by Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho who has told the Chile star that he isn’t going to be playing under him again until essentially, the player bucks his ideas up. Mourinho hasn’t been happy with his attitude apparently and now Ladbrokes have moved a January exit for Sanchez from 3/1 into 6/4 odds* (betting odds taken on October 2nd, 2018 at 4:57 pm).

Sanchez has made just five appearances for the Red Devils this season (all in the Premier League) for a total of 333 minutes. He has the one goal to his name which came against Burnley back on September 2nd. He sat on the bench for the entire 90 minutes of Manchester United’s Champions League opener against Young Boys and didn’t even get onto the pitch in their EFL Cup third round defeat on penalties against Derby.

Mourinho left Sanchez out of the squad for their Premier League visits to West Ham last weekend, which the Red Devils lost 3-1. Now he has been slashed to make a quick exit from Old Trafford when the January transfer window opens.

Jose Mourinho, who seems to be at war with his own squad is still the 4/5 odds-on favourite to be the next Premier League manager out of a job* (betting odds taken on October 2nd, 2018 at 4:57 pm). His most public clashes have been with World Cup winner Paul Pogba who is at 4/6 odds with Ladbrokes to leave the club in January* (betting odds taken on October 2nd, 2018 at 4:57 pm).
