It is a troubled season for Saracens, who are staring down the barrel of relegation from the Premiership. It was a strange game a week ago between the two, because the conditions were so poor in the second half of the contest, that it was so difficult for either side to play or do what they wanted. But the narrow win for the Irish province gave them a leg up in the race for qualification from Pool 4 over Saracens. They can close the door on the challenge of the English Premiership side with a victory at the Allianz.
Muster have remained undefeated in their last three away games in the tournament against English Premiership opposition with a W2 D1 record. No side in this season’s pool stage has made more carries than Munster have done and Munster haven’t lost a scrum off their own-put in either (one of four teams).
