These two have already met twice this season. They were paired up in the Spanish Super Cup in August, with Barcelona taking a 2-1 win there. Then it was a La Liga meeting in October with Barcelona taking a 4-2 win at the Nou Camp. Sevilla have had a decent season though as they are up in the top four in the Spanish top flight. Their form has just slipped back a little bit though with one win in their last six in all competitions.
They lost 2-0 against Real Madrid in a league game on the weekend. They have failed to net in any of their last three games as well, so they have just gone cold. In the last round of the Copa Del Rey, they took a 3-2 aggregate win over Athletic Bilbao. As a positive Sevilla’s home form is W13 D2 L3 in all competitions this season.
Barcelona lost the first leg of their Copa del Rey tie against Levante in the last round. They went down 2-1 away from home but turned it around with a 3-1 home win, Lionel Messi helping out. Barcelona were nowhere near full strength for that first leg. Barca are W6 L1 in their last seven games in all competitions and have lost just one game since back in mid-November.
They had a four-match winning streak away from home snapped with that 2-1 loss at Levante in the first leg of the last round of this competition. Barca are unbeaten in eleven against Sevilla. They met in last season’s Copa del Rey final actually with Barca winning 5-0.

Barcelona to win: Barca may well field a slightly stronger side for this one than they did against Levante. They have head to head form going against Sevilla and so we will predict the narrow away win.
