Parallel World
The last run that Parallel World had was at Southwell back in December. That was over a shorter 7f trip however but came out on top by 4l over Milagre Da Vida. Parallel World had been the 2/1 favourite for that race.
It also gave him back to back race wins.
The layoff isn’t likely to bother him in this, his handicap debut. The win at Southwell in December was his first trip since April as a novice.
There is little from the Karl Burke-trained Parallel World to suggest how he handles this class of company however as he’s unexposed.

Silverturnstogold
There was a poor trip for Silverturnsgold in his last run which was at 1m at Kempton in February. He only trailed home 9th of 14 in that fixture and was 6l back of the winner.
He actually wasn’t in bad shape before that and Silverturnedtogold is a previous course and distance winner. It is that which brings his claims at 10/3 odds* (betting odds taken from Bet365 at 01:23 GMT on Tuesday, 3rd March 2020).
He is actually a four-time winner at Southwell, the most recent of which was at class 4. He has won four times between 7f and 1m on all-weather too.
Masham Star
Masham Star has not gone on the fibresand before. Some pretty average form has seen him come down in the weights, but he is a previous distance winner.
He was 1l beach of Trevithick in 4th on his last run which was at Newcastle in a 1m trip in February. Looks as if he needs more unless the weights swing his way.
Motawaayfeq
There has been some steady stuff produced by Motawaafeq including a third last time out. That was at the course and distance with a finish only one and a half lengths back of Native Silver from a price of 10/1.
That was a good bump on his form and the trip should at least see him return in somewhat of a competitive frame. But is out at the 5/1 quote for this one* (betting odds taken from Bet365 at 01:23 GMT on Tuesday, 3rd March 2020).
Zeyzoun
The rank outsider in the race is Zeyzoun who was last seen in a Kempton 1m trip last month. He was second from last on that one, a long way back of the winner. There has been very little from him, not having placed from three runs this season.
Predictions & Tips
Under penalty as a novice last time out, Parallel World came on very well at Southwell in his last run. That was his second 7f success on fibresand and it’s hard to shake off his appeal.
But we are going to. We think there is more to come from Silverturnstogold who just never got going on Polytrack in his last run. He’s familiar enough with the fibresand and the extra experience may win out.
