Iceland have some key players missing for their trip to Switzerland. In the midfield, both captain Aron Gunnarsson and Johann Berg Gudmundsson are out injured. They will also be without their main striker Alfred Finnbogason who is also sidelined for this. Iceland also are going into a new era following a change of head coach with Erik Hamren taking over. So they are not going to be quiet at full strength for this one which could limit them in this Nations League opener. It has been a tremendous couple of years for Iceland. They had that brilliant run at Euro 2016 in getting to the quarter finals and then they turned around and qualified for the World Cup for the first time ever. But this is a tricky time for them with injuries and change of head coach.
