Today’s football betting tips return to look at some of the domestic action from England. The big game of the night is from the Premier League as Crystal Palace take on Newcastle.

There is also action coming from the Championship for today’s football betting.

Plus we’ll be dipping into League One and the National League for the rest of today’s football betting tips.

Best Football Betting Tips Today: Crystal Palace v Newcastle

There was a loss for the Eagles on the weekend as they became the first side in the top flight this season to lose to Burnley.

That was a big setback for Crystal Palace who are positioned in mid-table.

It has been a W4 D1 L4 record from the Eagles this season and it has been a fairly solid home campaign from them.

Palace are W2 D1 L1 at home, unbeaten in their last two at Selhurst Park.

In their last home game, they thumped Leeds 4-1. Palace are lining up as the 23/20 favourites for Friday night’s hosting of Newcastle.

The Eagles are unbeaten in their last four home games against the Mpages, winning two of those, including last season’s meeting.

Newcastle have lost their last two league fixtures after putting in a tame effort at home against Chelsea last weekend.

That has been just one win in their last five league fixtures now (D1 L3).

So they are not without their struggles and Steve Bruce’s men are 5/2 underdogs with Betfair on Friday.

Given their lack of form and head to head against Palace we don’t see an away win happening.

Palace to win at 23/20

Football Betting Picks Today: Brentford v QPR

We are looking at the Championship next for football betting tips today. Brentford are the 8/13 odds-on favourites for this one

They will be defending a good unbeaten run of form that they are on in league action.

Brentford are on a W5 D5 L3 record for the season and are unbeaten in six (D4 L2).

It has been a good showing from them on home turf, going unbeaten in four.

But again there have been a lot of drawn games.

Brentford have drawn their last three home games, two of those resilient ones against teams above them in the league.

With no goals conceded in their last three games and four clean sheets in their last five, the Bees are tough to break down.

QPR are at 9/2 to pick up the three points.

The R’s have lost their last four visits to Brentford.

QPR are three points behind Brentford in the standings and they have taken three wins in their last five games (D1 L1).

But across the course of the season, the R’s have taken just the one victory away from Loftus Road (D2 L3).

So that is where for today’s football betting, we think they fall down in terms of the win, but they look good enough to pick up a point.

Draw at 3/1

Football Betting Tips for Today: Fleetwood v Sunderland

Next up we are heading into League One for this Fleetwood v Sunderland match.

There has been superb form produced by Fleetwood recently as they have won five of their last six games.

The only blip on that record was an away loss at Charlton, another of the big form teams.

Fleetwood have won five of their seven home league games this season (D1 L1) and have a three-match winning streak going.

Their goal output (home and away) has been excellent as well lately, they have tallied at least two goals in five of their last seven games.

It’s been nine alone in their last two games, wins over Bristol Rover and Plymouth.

After struggles at the start of the season, Fleetwood have really kicked into gear and they are 15/8 to win this one.

So they are underdogs against the 11/8 quote on Sunderland.

However, Sunderland are winless in three at Fleetwood (D1 L2) and their league form has seen them take just one point from their last two.

The Black cats, who are level on points with Fleetwood, played out a 1-1 draw with Doncaster on the weekend.

A big reason why they are the favourites for this game is their unbeaten away form this season.

Sunderland are W3 D3 on the road but all three wins were at teams who are currently in the bottom half of the table.

We think the home team are worth chancing.

Fleetwood to win at 15/8

Online Betting Football Tip: Notts County v Wealdstone

Notts County arrested a slump in form on the weekend with a win away at Chesterfield.

They had failed to win their three games played before that. So that win keeps them in midtable.

It has been a W4 D1 L3 record overall for them this season in the National League.

Looking specifically at their home form it is W2 L1 having only played the three games there so far.

This will be the first home game for them in the league since October 17th when they were beaten by Maidenhead Utd.

They were going into his fixture as the 8/15 favourites for today’s football betting.

Wealdstone are in great shape up in the top four in the league.

But they have played a couple of games more than Notts County have done this season

Out on their travels, Wealdstone are W2 D1 L2 this season and those two wins have come in their last three such fixtures.

That was part of a five-match winning streak that they had been on.

They are a good resilient bunch and all five of their wins this season (home and away) have been by a 1 goal margin.

We would have to side with the home win here, however, as most of Wealdstone’s form has been built at home.

We see their defence as just being that little more vulnerable.

Notts County to win at 8/15
