It’s a big night on Friday and it’s five selections that we have for today’s football betting tips.

We have a couple of games in focus from the domestic front, the pick of those being the Championship clash between Reading and Bournemouth.

Then it’s off to mainland Europe for football betting today as we look at games from La Liga, the Bundesliga and Serie A.

Best Football Betting Tips Today: Reading v Bournemouth

Home side Reading are the 11/5 underdogs for this Friday night Championship fixture.

The Royals, however, aren’t actually in bad shape at all currently.

They are two points above Bournemouth in the standings, both inside the top six.

It has been a five-match unbeaten streak of form by Reading, winning three of those.

Reading have put together a good, strong home campaign, with a W8 L4 record at the Madejski.

It has been back to back home wins for them.

Home and away they have conceded just one goal in their last four league fixtures.

Bournemouth did have a bit of extra midweek action against Crawley in the FA Cup on Tuesday.

Their league form has just taken a bit of five, having lost their last two fixtures.

The most recent of those was a shock 1-0 defeat at the struggling Derby.

However, they are the 5/4 favourites to win this clash, but how appealing is that?

Well, with a W4 D6 L3 record on the road in his campaign, the Cherries could be in danger in this away fixture.

Reading to win at 11/5

Football Betting Picks Today: Colchester v Scunthorpe

Next up for football betting tips today is Colchester v Scunthorpe from League Two.

Colchester are still waiting to snap a long winless streak of league form.

They have gone eight games without one now in the league, the U’s drawing four of those.

It has been three drawn matches in their last four.

A lack of goals is just badly hurting them at the moment. Colchester have netted just one goal in their last five league fixtures.

They have an overall home record of W6 D4 L1 so don’t look too likely to actually get beaten on the night.

Scunthorpe are W4 L8 out on their league travels for the campaign and have lost three of their last four.

But they have taken back to back home wins in the current form. Is that something they could build on?

There is a quote of 9/5 on the away win for Scunthorpe.

This doesn’t actually look like a particularly insurmountable task for them to get something out of the game.

Draw at 11/5

Football Betting Tips for Today: Torino v Fiorentina

We head off to Italy next for Torino v Fiorentina and neither team has produced too much form recently.

Torino are winless in five games in all competitions (D4 L1).

In league action they have posted only two league wins all season (D8 L9). That has left them just above the drop zone on goal difference.

So they have some big pressure on them. Torina are at 13/8 to grab a precious three points out of this one.

They did win last season’s corresponding home fixture against Fiorentina.

Bet at Betfred

The Viola have had a really poor time away from home this season.

It has been a W1 D2 L6 road record from them. Their win was a big shock success at Juventus.

Anyway, it has been back to back road defeats for them since then.

Fiorentina are 13/8 to pick up three points.

With them having conceded at over two goals per away game, they look a slight risk to take on.

Fiorentina may just come up short.

Torino to win at 13/8

Online Betting Football Tip: Stuttgart v Mainz

It is to the German Bundesliga next for this interesting game between Stuttgart and Mainz.

It’s interesting because Stuttgart, who are the 7/10 odds-on favourites have lost four of their last six league fixtures.

Also, they have yet to pick up a home win this season in league action (D5 L3).

That includes a 1-1 draw against Cologne who are third from bottom currently one place above Mainz.

Stuttgart have not managed a clean sheet on home turf either which just makes that odds-on quote a little more unappealing.

Are Mainz good enough though to get three points?

The bookies don’t think so as they are 7/2 for an away win.

But Mainz have won two of their last three visits to Stuttgart in the Bundesliga.

The took a morale-boosting surprise home win over RB Leipzig in their last league fixture.

Having drawn two for their last three away games, one of those at Dortmund, we think the visitors get a point.

Draw at 3/1

Online Betting Football Tip: Valladolid v Huesca

Valladolid have failed to win any of their last five games in all competitions, but have drawn four of those.

They have won their last two home games against Huesca and are 11/8 to add to that.

In La Liga, Valladolid are just two points above the drop zone so are under some pressure.

But they should be able to avoid defeat, having dropped only one of their last five league games.

They are taking on bottom side Huesca who have one once in the league this season only.

With only one point earned from their last five league fixtures, Hesuca should be there for the taking.

Valladolid to win at 11/8
