Today’s football betting tips continue with the midweek international matches.
The UEFA qualifiers for the World Cup 2022 continue on Thursday.
While some of the big guns like England, Italy and Germany are in action, we are looking for the games that offer a bit of value in the match outright.
We have five selections in football betting today.
Table of Contents
Best Football Betting Tips Today: Israel v Denmark
Football betting tips today start with Israel v Denmark.
It is the away win that is the shortest-priced option in the match outright at 3/4.
Denmark have won their last two road trips to Israel.
Last year Denmark posted a W5 D1 L2 record from their eight fixtures.
The two defeats in that sequence were against Belgium in the Nations League.
They closed out the year with a W5 L1 record, including wins over England and Sweden in that sequence.
So Denmark look like a good option for international football betting on Thursday night.
Israel produced a W2 D3 L2 in their seven matches played last year across the Nations League and European Championship qualifiers.
The two wins were narrow one-goal winning margins against Slovakia and Scotland.
They are a quote of 4/1 underdogs to pick up the win in this one.
It was only one clean sheet that they earned last year.
We see the scheduled hosts coming up short in this one.
Denmark to win at 3/4

Football Betting Picks Today: Hungary v Poland
Football betting for today moves on to Hungary v Poland.
Hungary put in some good results in 2020 in their Nations League and European Championship qualifiers.
They posted a W5 D2 L1 record last year, the one defeat happening at home against Russia.
They closed out the year with a three-match winning streak on home turf and they are 14/5 underdogs on home soil to win this World Cup qualifier.
Hungary have won two of their last four home games against Poland.
Poland were involved in many tougher fixtures last year, facing Itlay, the Netherlands and Bosnia-Herzegovina in the Nations League.
They ended up W3 D1 L2 from that campaign.
Poland are likely to have the extra quality and competitiveness to sneak an away win.
Poland to win at 11/10

Football Betting Tips for Today: Moldova v Faroe Islands
Next for today’s football betting tips, we are looking at Moldova v Faroe Islands from the World Cup qualifiers.
This may not be the most inspiring match, but it’s a reasonable enough assumption to get to a home win.
Moldova lost six of eight internationals played in 2020. The last time that they won a match was in June 2019 at home against Andorra.
They haven’t scored in any of their last seven internationals, but surely they have to offer something in attack against the Faroe Islands?
Faroe Islands posted a positive W3 D3 L1 record last year in their Nations Leauge and international friendly fixtures.
Their wins happened against Malta and Andorra however.
But overall they were more competitive last year than probably they ever have been on the international scene.
But do they appear to be the kind of team to rally warrant backing for an away win in a World Cup qualifier?
They are 11/5 to get that victory, but it looks a little bit of a risky punt on their first visit to Moldova.
Moldova to win at 31/20

Online Betting Football Tip: Romania v North Macedonia
The home win for Romania in this World Cup qualifier is at 8/11 for football betting tips today.
Romania on their final two home games played in 2020. That was a friendly against Belarus and a Nations League success over Norway.
The latter of those two results was an excellent return from Romania.
It is a W1 L1 record that Romania have from their two previous home games against Macedonia.
It was a W2 D1 L1 record at home that Romania produced last year, scoring eight goals in their final two there.
Macedonia actually had a good 2020, losing just one of their eight fixtures played.
They didn’t play anyone as strong as Romania faced during the calendar year so that has to be put into context.
They took a win and a draw on two visits to Georgia, and also a draw at Estonia.
They are 17/4 underdogs for Thursday’s game.
Macedonia could be competitive but for an away fixture like this, those underdogs odds look justified in international football betting.
Romania to win at 8/11

Online Betting Football Tip: Scotland v Austria
Scotland get their World Cup qualification underway with a home game on Thursday night.
They entertain Austria and Scotland are the 11/5 underdogs to pick up the victory.
Scotland are an improved team in 2020 earning a W3 D3 L2 record.
They did close out the year with back to back Nations League defeats against Slovakia and Israel however.
But those were away defeats.
Scotland took a W2 D1 record on home turf last year, beating Slovakia and the Czech Republic by a 1-0 scoreline in that sequence.
This isn’t an easy game for them against Austria, however, Scotland are W2 D1 L1 in their last four home fixtures against them.
Austria had a very positive 2020 as they won five of their last six games played in the year.
Three of those wins were away from home and they should pose a threat in this one.
Austria are 6/5 to get the away win under their belt in this World Cup qualifier.
They may just be worth siding with, having scored in all eight of their games played in 2020.
Austria to win at 6/5
