Today’s football betting tips come from the UEFA Europa League as Matchday Five arrives.

The group stage is getting to the final stages now.

We will be taking a look at some of the British interests that are in action on Thursday night.

But also for our football betting for today, we will be looking at some other games in which we spot some good value picks.

Best Football Betting Tips Today: Red Star v Hoffenheim

This is an intriguing battle for today’s football betting tips to look at. It is a scrap between the top two in Group L.

Hoffenheim have a three-point lead over Red Star in the standings so only need to play out a draw to seal top spot.

It has been four wins from four by the Germans so far in the group stage and they have averaged over three goals per game.

There was a 2-0 win for the Germans when the two met earlier in the group stage campaign.

They are at 13/10 with Boylesports to complete the double over Red Star.

Red Star have a lot to play for on home soil in this one however as a win pulls them level on points with Hoffenheim in the race for the top spot.

They are carrying some form too are the Serbians, sitting on a six-match winning streak in all competitions.

It is a three-match winning streak that they have recorded in Group L as well, a strong comeback after losing in Germany.

Red Star may give a decent account of themselves here and avoid defeat. They are W10 D3 L3 in their previous home efforts against German visitors.

Draw at 11/4

Football Betting Picks Today: Zorya v Leicester

The Foxes have gone off the boil a little bit with only a D1 L2 record from their last three games in all competition.

But this looks like a decent chance to blow off some steam as they visit Ukraine on Thursday night.

Leicester can seal the top spot with a point out of this fixture.

The Foxes are the 4/6 odds-on favourites at Boylesports for the victory on this away trip, to build on their W3 D1 record in this season’s group stage.

Leicester were comfortable 3-0 home winners over Zorya on Matchday One.

Since then Zorya have managed to pick up a win in the group, leaving them at W1 L3 for the campaign.

So they don’t pose a massive threat not even at home.

The Ukrainians are the 17/4 underdogs in the match outright here.

Zorya have played one previous home game against English opposition, that ended in a 2-0 loss against Man Utd in the 2016 Europa League group stage.

Leicester to win at 4/6

Football Betting Tips for Today: AZ Alkmaar v Napoli

Things are pretty tight in Group F. Napoli are heading the table with a W3 L1 record to sit on 9 points.

That is only two clear of both Real Sociedad and Thursday’s opponents AZ Alkmaar.

Back on Matchday One when these two met, Napoli suffered a shock 1-0 home loss.

But the Italians have recovered well, two of their following three wins happening by a 1 goal margin.

They are going into Thursday night’s action odds-on 4/5 favourites with Boylesports.

Napoli have won only four of their last 12 European away games, but in the Europa League specifically, they are on a five-match winning streak on the road.

They have taken just one win in their seven previous games against Dutch opposition (D2 L4) and are D1 L2 in their three trips to the Netherlands.

Bet at Boylesports

Dutch size AZ have won their two previous home games played against visitors from Italy. The most recent of those was a 2-0 win over Udinese back in the 2011/12 Europa League.

They are 10/3 to get the win on Thursday with bookmaker Boylesports.

AZ Alkmaar are a threat, not only having proven themselves against Napoli once this season, but they have finished in the top two in each of thor four Europa League campaigns.

They are likely going to give the Italians a tough run for their money, but we would just have to shade the away win.

Napoli to win at 4/5

Online Betting Football Tip: Rangers v St Liege

Rangers took a great 2-0 win in Belgium against Standard Liege on Matchday One. That got their campaign off to a flier.

Rangers are W2 D2 so far in this campaign and avoiding defeat on Thursday night will see them book a qualification spot through to the next round.

They are level on points with Benfica in the race for the top spot.

There should be a great chance here for the Gers to push on and they are the 2/5 match outright favourites.

Their record at home against visitors from Belgium has won three of three.

Until they lost at home to Leverkusen in last season’s round of sixteen tie, Rangers were 17 matches unbeaten in Europe at Ibrox.

They have taken only one clean sheet in their last six home European games.

But Liege, who are W1 L3 in this group don’t appear to be a big threat.

They have won just one of their last 19 Europa League away games.

It is a nine-match winless streak in such fixtures for them (D3 L6).

We think there’s a fair chance of a comfortable home win for Rangers and with a clean sheet.

Rangers to win to nil at 8/5

Online Betting Football Milan v Celtic

Celtic are bottom of Group H in the Europa League with only one point from their four games played.

Anything but a win on Thursday will see Celtic’s European campaign fade away. It has been poor from them.

When they played host to AC Milan back on matchday one they fell to a 3-1 defeat at Parkhead.

Just to size up the task ahead of them, Celtic are 8/1 underdogs for this trip to the San Siro.

Celtic have made 13 previous trips to Italy and from that, they have taken only a W1 D3 L9 return.

A win at Lazio in last season’s group stage, that gave Celtic only their second victory away from home in the Europa League group stage.

Overall their record on the road in the tournament is at W2 D11 L11.

AC Milan are duelling with Lille for the top spot in this Group H holding a W2 D1 L1 record.

Their one defeat did happen at home when Lille visited.

But we just can’t see Celtic making an impression on them. AC Milan are W7D1 at home against Scottish opponents.

Milan to win to nil at 6/4
