It is the switch over to competitive international football for today’s best football betting tips.

The European Championship qualifiers are back on, producing some competitive fixtures and Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland are all in action.

We will also take a look at the headlining international friendly match between England and Wales on the night as well.

So let’s push on with football betting tips for today.

Best Football Betting Tips Today: Bosnia-Herzegovina v Northern Ireland

This is a tricky away match for the Irish and they are 3/1 underdogs to pick up an away win.

Northern Ireland finished third in their qualification group behind the Netherlands and Germany but did enough in the preceding Nations League to get this second chance.

In the two matches that they have played this year, things haven’t gone swimmingly for them.

Northern Ireland picked up a 1-1 draw at Romania before suffering a 5-1 home loss against Norway in the new Nations League campaign.

Bosnia though haven’t been in the hottest of form either.

They opened their recent Nations League campaign with a 1-1 draw against Italy before then losing at home to Poland.

In their actual Euro 2020 qualifying campaign they took a W4 D1 L5 record and were the second highest-scorers in their group.

They have to be favourites to pick up the victory and they won their two previous games against Northern Ireland in the 2018 Nations League meetings.

Bosnia-Herzegovina to win at 10/11

Football Betting Picks Today: Scotland v Israel

Scotland get a chance to make it through to the European Championship finals courtesy of this play-off route.

They get to face Israel in the semi finals who they have seen a lot of over the last couple of years.

Scotland have taken a W4 D1 record in their last five games, so they have a bit of unbeaten form going.

In their recent Nations League action they opened with a disappointing 1-1 draw against Israel before digging out a 2-1 win at the Czech Republic.

So they should be in decent spirits and they are the 13/10 favourites.

The form of Israel isn’t there with one win in their last six games and they drew their two recent Nations League games.

The one was the aforementioned one against Scotland and then against Slovakia.

In the 2018 nations League the two nations traded home wins, before meeting again in this current edition of it.

We have to think that Scotland would have enough on home turf to find a way to win this.

Scotland to win to nil at 13/10

Football Betting Tips for Today: Slovakia v Ireland

Both Slovakia and Ireland have similar form over their last six games. It has been a W1 D3 L2 record for both of them.

In the Nations League competitive action recently that they took, Slovakia lost 3-1 at home to the Czech Republic, who were in turn then beaten by Scotland.

Slovakia then drew in Israel.

Ireland opened their recent Nations League campaign with a 1-1 draw against Bulgaria and then suffered a hugely disappointing 1-0 home loss against Finland.

But Slovakia have a W1 D4 unbeaten record going against Slovakia, but the last four have each been drawn.

We can see this needing more than 90 minutes for the semi final qualification tie to be settled.

Draw at 21/10

Online Betting Football Tip: England v Wales

This is the top international friendly action of the night sees neighbours England and Wales renew their rivalry.

England have taken a W4 D1 record in their last five games, exactly the same as Wales have done, so this should be interesting.

In the recent Nations League action, England huffed and puffed to a poor 1-0 away win in Iceland before being held to a 0-0 draw in Denmark.

Not the most inspiring of results from the Three Lions, were though.

Wales came out of the gate fast in their Nations league action, taking a 1-0 win in Finland before beating Bulgaria at home by the same scoreline.

They are 8/1 underdogs for the contest are the Welsh.

So Wales should be in good spirits for this trip across the border to face England for the first time since their Euro 2016 clash.

A late Daniel Sturggide strike gave England a 2-1 win in that game having fallen behind to a Gareth Bale opener for Wales.

England are on a five match winning streak against Wales. Both teams have scored in just one of their last six meetings.

The draw probably doesn’t go far from having plenty of appeal. But we’ll push for a home win.

England to win by a goal margin at 11/4
