This is a little bit of a quiet week, but we still can take a look at today’s football betting tips.

We are going a little lower down the football tiers of England to pull our selections together.

However the big action of the night for football betting today is the EFL Cup semi-final clash where Tottemahm faced Champsihips side Brentford.

Best Football Betting Tips Today: Tottenham v Brentford

The winner of this match will go on to meet either Manchester City or Manchester United in the EFL Cup final.

Tottenham are the 4/9 odds-on favourites to claim the victory on the night with Boylesports.

That’s understandable enough given that they are the Premier League side taking on a Championship opponent.

Tottenham took a 3-1 win over Championship side Stoke in the last round of the competition.

The last time that they met Brentford was in the League Cup back in 2000 and Spurs won a replay 2-0 on that occasion.

It is a W9 D4 L2 record that they hold over the Bees.

Brentford are in a fantastic run of form at the moment, however, and the Bees beat Premier League opposition in the last round.

That was a 1-0 victory over Newcastle.

Tat built on wins over Southampton, West Brom and Fulham as well that they have achieved on this cup run.

Brentford are unbeaten in their last sixteen games across all cotton and are currently on a four-match winning streak.

The Bees have won five of their last seven road games as well (D2) but are 6/1 underdogs to pull off the victory on Tuesday.

They are scoring well and may have enough to at least get on the board.

Tottenham to win and both teams to score at 2/1

Football Betting Picks Today: Mansfield v Salford

Next for today’s football betting tips, we are visiting the one midweek game from League Two.

Mansfield have started to pick up their form with back to back wins having been posted.

That’s moved them on to just four successes for the entire campaign and the Stags are three points above the drop zone only.

They are at 11/8 to pick up a home win on Tuesday, and to their credit, they have lost only one of their last seven league games (W3 D3).

Their home form doesn’t suggest a win is coming, however, as they are only at W1 D6 L4 on home turf for the League Two campaign.

Mansfield are unbeaten in their last three on home turf, however.

Their only home win came in their last fixture, a 4-0 win over Port Vale at Field Mill.

Salford are the 21/10 favourites for the win as they look to receive from a defeat last time out in the league.

That was an away defeat which took their away form to W4 D0 L5 this season in the league.

Three of the four away defeats that they have suffered have been at current top ten sides.

Mansfield are a long way from that.

Salford have already three of the current bottom six away from home to nil.

Salford to win at 11/8

Football Betting Tips for Today: Solihull Moors v Chesterfield

We are dropping to the National League next for today’s football betting tips.

Solihull Moors are trying to find a bit of winning consistency for themselves as they need an upturn in the form.

It has been three losses in their last four games.

One positive for them is that they have the second-best defensive record in the entire league, but are still well down in bottom half of the table.

Their home form is W5 L1 this season from their six games played and they are 6/5 to collect three points in this game.

The reason that they are struggling is that they haven’t found too many goals, with only three teams having scored feared than them.

Bet at Boylesports

Chesterfield are only one place above them in the league standings, but they are on a roll at the moment.

The visitors are 21/10 to collect three away points.

It has been 13 points collected from the last 15 available by Chesterfield and they haven’t given up a goal in any of their last four.

So that’s been a huge turnaround in fortunes from them.

They have won their last two on the road, the most recent of those at third-placed Sutton. They look good enough to avoid defeat.

Draw at 5/2

Online Betting Football Tip: Stockport v Eastleigh

This is more action from the National League as Stockport looks for three points that would lift them up into second place in the table.

It has only been the one victory in their last five league games, however (D2 L2).

So they have struggled just a little bit.

It is a W3 D2 L1 home record that they have taken. Stockport have won only one of their last four home league games.

But defensively they have been on point pretty much, having conceded only 5 goals in their 6 home games.

This will be just the second time that they have played host to Eastleigh, with Stockport taking a 2-0 win on the previous occasion which was in the 2019 National League.

The home side go into this one as the strong 7/10 odds-on favourites.

Eastleigh have not had that winning feeling in any of their last five league games. It has been three straight drawn games from them.

The goals have badly dried up for Eastleigh recently as they have scored just two goals in their last five league fixtures.

On their travels they are W3 D2 L2 and have averaged two goals per road game.

But defensively they haven’t been sharp at all on their travels, having conceded 10 goals in their 7 games.

We think their defence lets them down.

Stockport to win at 7/10

Online Betting Football Tip: Weymouth v Yeovil

The last of our selections is from this Weymouth v Yeovil clash in the National League on Tuesday night.

Weymouth are in the drop zone with just a W2 D3 L10 record on the board this season.

They have only managed to take two points from their last six league games now. Weymouth are 14/5 underdogs for this home game.

Weymouth have not found any solace at home recently either as they have taken one point from their last six home games.

One positive for them is that they have scored in all but of their last eleven league games, home and away.

But their defence is a bit of shambles, unfortunately.

Weymouth have conceded at least two goals in six of their last eight league games.

Yeovil are only a couple of places above but they have won three of their last four games.

Those are their only three league successes for this season.

Away from home Yeovil have earned a W1 D4 L1 record and they go into this one as the 17/20 favourites.

But we can’t look past the drawn outcome in his one, which was what happened the last time that they went to Weymouth.

Draw at 11/4
