The international break will largely dominate things this week, but for today’s football betting tips, there is some action around before all of that kicks off.

We are going to be looking at some league action from the National League, scoping out the scene there for our football betting tips today.

All of the picks for the day will be coming from there.

Best Football Betting Tips Today: Aldershot vs Sutton

Aldershot opened their account for the season with a defeat, falling to a 2-1 away loss at Hartlepool over the weekend.

They are at a 6/4 quote with Boylesports to come up with the home win in this one. But rolling over from last season, that’s a four match losing streak that they are on in the division.

Aldershot have been undefeated in their last four home games against Sutton, posting a W2 D2 record in that sequence.

It will have been over a year now since these two last met, playing out a 1-1 draw at Aldershot early last season.

Sutton did get themselves off to a winning start, cruising to a 3-0 win at home over Maidenhead.

So they are Football betting tips to pick up the victory.

When last season was cut short, Sutton were four points ahead of Aldershot in mid-table, having played a game less.

This looks as if it is going to be a fairly balanced game, so the draw appeals the most.

Draw at 11/5

Football Betting Picks Today: Eastleigh v Torquay

Eastleigh ran rampant on the opening weekend of the new season, posting a big 5-1 victory over Barnet.

That was a bright start for a team that finished last season down in the bottom half of the table.

Eastleigh posted a W6 D8 L3 record in the last campaign on home turf but this is likely going to be a much tougher match for them.

However, before we look at the visitors, Eastleigh are W3 D1 in their last four home games against Torquay.

Torquay arrived having collected a win in their opening game of the campaign as well, taking a 1-0 success over Stockport.

They did close out last season with two wins in their last three games, so that’s three victories in their last five league fixtures.

Out on the road last season, Torquay posted a W5 D4 L9 record, so they did struggle a bit there.

We will be happy to roll with another Eastleigh win and they are a nice bit of odds-against value to do just that.

Eastleigh to win at 11/10

Football Betting Tips for Today: Dagenham & Redbridge vs Barnet

Dagenham suffered a loss on the weekend, going down 2-0 against Halifax. They get the chance to redeem themselves with a home game in midweek.

When last season was halted early they were in 18th in the table, and they had collected a W7 D6 L6 record on home turf.

It was a 1-1 draw with Barnet at home that Dagenham & Redbridge played out.

Interestingly they have failed to win any of their last three home fixtures against Barnet (D1 L2).

Barnet also opened the new league campaign with a loss. They went down in a heavy 5-1 loss against Eastleigh.

That was a tough one to finish. They were mid-table finishers last season but had plenty of games in hand over those above them.

This is another game where it looks like a home win has to be favoured. We are going to roll with that as well after such a confidence-rocking loss for Barnet on the weekend.

Dagenham & Redbridge to win at 10/11

Online Betting Football Tip: Solihull vs Wrexham

Solihull went down in a 2-1 loss away at Woking on the weekend. There has been just one win in their last five league fixtures, rolling over from last season.

They have, however, won their last two home fixtures played against Wrexham which includes their effort against them in October last year.

Solihull were a top-eight team last season and when the season ended, they had the best defensive record of all teams.

They had a good time at home as well in the campaign, picking up a W12 D1 L6 record.

Last season Solihull Moors won their first three home fixtures of the campaign

Wrexham had a positive start to the new season, having collected a 2-1 home success over Boreham Wood.

But they are the 12/5 underdogs with Boyleports for this fixture.

That will have been a big relief because the Welsh club were struggling last season at the wrong end of the table.

We would roll for a home win in this one at odds-against value.

Solihull Moors to win at 21/10
