For today’s football betting tips we are moving away from the Champions League action to look at English domestic fixtures.

There is another big night of Championship action going down, along with a couple of games from League Two as well.

So that is going to be where are our tips in football betting for today are going to come from.

Best Football Betting Tips Today: Swansea v Bournemouth

This is the big game of the Championship in midweek as it is a mouthwatering top-four clash.

Swansea collected a home win on the weekend over Luton to finish the weekend in fourth place in the table.

That’s a good W3 D1 L1 record that the Swans have nailed in their last five league games.

Swansea have picked up an excellent W5 D2 L1 record at home this season and are unbeaten in their last five at the Liberty Stadium (W5).

So they do have some good home momentum and yet they are the 15/8 underdogs for the match win.

In their last four home games against Bournemouth, Swansea are D2 L2 only.

Bournemouth got back to winning ways on the weekend after a surprise defeat against Preston in their previous match.

The Cherries earned a comfortable 4-0 road win at Barnsley on Saturday to stay in second place in the table.

The Cherries are the league’s second-highest scorers and are undefeated in their last three road games (W2 D2).

The goals are flying for Bournemouth at the moment as they have netted at least twice in each of their last five.

Swansea have been excellent in defence this season, but we think Bournemouth crack them.

Bournemouth to win at 6/4

Football Betting Picks Today: Watford v Rotherham

The Hornets still can’t get their away from going along at the moment but are 4/7 odds-on favourites for this home fixture on Tuesday.

Watford are W6 D1 L1 at Vicarage Road this season so they have that positive statistic on the side.

They did slip up at home against Cardiff on the weekend, however, failing to hit the back of the net.

That’s one concern which has crept into Watford’s play at the moment.

They have failed to score in three of their last four league games (home and away).

So that does make this interesting.

Watford are W2 D1 in their last three home games against Rotherham, keeping a clean sheet in each of those.

Rotherham turned up with a poor run of form going into the Championship.

They have managed to take only one point from their last five league games now and are 5/1 underdogs for this.

The Millers are hovering just about the drop zone and they have lost six of their last eight in the second tier.

With five losses in their seven road games this season, we think Rotherham will fall.

Watford to win at 4/7

Football Betting Tips for Today: Huddersfield v Sheffield Wednesday

The Terriers have won two of their last three games after collecting a win over QPR on the weekend.

That leaves them in mid-table and it extended some good home form.

It has been back to back home wins in the league from them, and they are unbeaten in three on home turf.

Huddersfield go into this on 6/4 despite that form.

They have lost three of their last four home games against Sheffield Wednesday (D1) failing to score in a sequence.

Sheffield Wednesday lost against Norwich on the weekend but weren’t disgraced against the league leaders.

That snapped a run of three straight drawn matches.

The Owls are still rooted to the foot of the table and are looking to end a run of six games without a win (D4 L2).

They are 19/10 in the match outright to make it happen on Tuesday.

Two of their three road wins have been away from home this season. But we can’t get there with them.

Huddersfield to win at 6/4

Online Betting Football Tip: Stoke v Cardiff

It has been back to back league wins for the Potters in the Championship after taking a home win over Middlesbrough on the weekend.

Stoke have now taken four wins in their last six games (D1 L1) and they finished the weekend in sixth place in the table.

The Potters are W4 D2 L2 at home this season, winning four of their last five on home soil.

So for today’s football betting, they look a reasonable 8/5 quote to take three points.

Cardiff are also coming into this game bang in form at the moment. It has been a three-match winning streak from the Bluebirds.

That’s half of their tally of wins for the entire season that they have taken in that little run there.

On the weekend they did take a very good win at Watford and have now gone without conceding in three games.

Still, that win at Vicarage Road on Saturday is their only success in their last five away games.

Cardiff are 19/10 to earn the win in midweek.

Coming so soon after that big effort they could find Stoke a handful.

Stoke to win at 8/5

Online Betting Football Tip: Grimsby v Newport

For today’s football betting tips we are next going to take a look at the League Two action between Grimsby and Newport.

The Mariners find themselves in a spot of bother having lost three of their last four league fixtures.

They are just hovering above the drop zone at the moment and are just W1 D1 L3 this season on home soil.

The only home success that they have taken has been against Barrow who are one of the four teams beneath them in the standings.

Grimbsy has scored only four goals in five home games, conceding at an average of over two goals per game.

The visiting Newport are top of the table at the moment.

It has been seven wins for the Welsh club in their last ten league fixtures and will be expected to walk away with three points on Tuesday.

The Exiles are 3/4 odds-on to do just that.

They did lose against Grimsby last season but already in this campaign, they have beaten two of the current bottom four to nil.

Newport to win at 3/4
