Today’s football betting tips will be looking only at the Nations League action that is happening on the night.

England will be stepping back into acting as they look to follow up on a positive result against Belgium as they face Denmark.

So we will kick off today’s football betting tips with that fixture, then meander our way across Europe with a look at some other international fixtures.

Best Football Betting Tips Today: England v Denmark

England extended their great unbeaten run of form by collecting a somewhat surprise 2-1 win over Belgium on the weekend.

That put England to the top of Group A2 and in a good position to push forward to try and reach the finals once again.

The Three Lions had been second best for pretty much the first half of that game, but may get an easier time of things against Denmark on Wednesday.

England are 4/6 odds-on for the match win with Bet365.

In the first group meeting which happened in early September, Denmark and England played out a dour 0-0 draw.

England are on a three-match unbeaten streak therefore now against the Danes.

There has only been one goal scored in total across the last two meetings, so it’s probably not worth expecting goalscoring fireworks to happen.

Denmark are on four points in the group, courtesy of a win over Iceland and that draw with England.

They are 4/1 to get a win that would shake up this group.

In their last five games, Denmark are W2 D2 L1, with one of those wins happening a friendly victory over the Faroe Islands last week.

England to win at 4/6

Football Betting Picks Today: Finland v Ireland

After a tremendous European Championships qualification campaign, Finland remains in good spirits.

They collected a 2-0 win against Bulgaria in Nations League action on the weekend.

That’s three wins in their last five competitive fixtures now and deserve a bit of respect.

Finland are at 13/10 to get the win on Wednesday against Ireland.

Earlier in this campaign, they did just that, collecting a 1-0 win in Dublin to shock the Irish. Can they pull off the double?

Ireland are not in any kind of winning touch at the moment with a D4 L1 record having been produced in their last five games.

On the weekend the Irish played out a 0-0 draw with Wales, leaving them on just the two points for the campaign.

That is a five-point gap between them and current group leaders Wales. The Irish are 11/5 to pick up three points.

So Finland has a more realistic chance of chasing down the Welsh for that promotion spot and therefore should have the bit between their teeth on Wednesday.

Finland to win at 13/10

Football Betting Tips for Today: Italy v Holland

This is the big clash of the night in Group A1 and it could be for all the beans as well.

Italy caused a stir by collecting a 1-0 away win in the Netherlands earlier in the campaign.

The Azzurri are sitting on five points from their three games in what has been a surprisingly low-scoring group.

So a home win, completing the double over the Dutch would leave the Italians sitting pretty, although Poland are still there competing.

Of the two nations, Italy are the ones who are carrying better form with a W4 D2 record in their last six, but they could only play out a 0-0 draw in Poland on the weekend.

The Dutch are D1 L2 in their last three games (competitive and friendly). They had a disappointing road trip which ended in a 0-00 draw with Bosnia-Herzegovina on the weekend.

That’s no win in their last two competitive games now.

Italy v Holland just looks a little too tight to call. But we have found an angle for football betting for today.

Just one of the last six meetings between Italy and the Netherlands have made it over 2.5 goals.

Under 2.5 goals at 4/5

Online Betting Football Tip: Portugal v Sweden

The host will not have Cristiano Ronaldo in action for this one, but we don’t think that it is going to affect the outcome of this one.

Portugal are in good shape at the moment and held their own in a 0-0 draw with France on the weekend, keeping them in control at the top of Group A3.

Portugal have only conceded one goal in their three games played so far and are averaging two per game.

They were 2-0 winners in Sweden for the first group meeting and they look a comfortable option at 3/5 to double up.

Sweden have lost their last three competitive games, so don’t appear to be in the greatest of shape to pull out a win here.

On the weekend they fell to a 2-1 loss in Croatia and they have another tough road game on their hands here.

Sweden did take a 3-2 win on their last visit to Portugal but are difficult to support as 19/4 underdogs with Bet365.

Portugal to win by a 1 goal margin at 12/5

Online Betting Football Tip: Scotland v Czech Republic

Scotland are in good heart at the moment with a D2 L4 record going in their last six games of action.

On the weekend the Scots took a 1-0 home win over Slovakia which leaves them leading Group B2 by a point over Wednesday’s opponents.

So this is a huge game for Scotland here but they are the 5/2 underdogs for the fixture with Bet365.

Earlier in this group when the two met, Scotland did take a 2-1 surprise win.

That is a three-match unbeaten streak that Scotland are on now against the Czech Republic (W2 D1).

The Czech Republic are 6/5 to win this one and they keep their promotion hopes alive with a 2-1 success in Israel on the weekend.

There has not been a clean sheet for the Czech Republic in any of their last six games, so they are going to be vulnerable.

They have, at the time of writing, eight players in quarantine as well.

Scotland to win at 5/2
