For today’s football betting tips we have to take a good look around the Premier League action that is going down.

The big game of the night is the top clash between Liverpool and Tottenham at Anfield, a mouth-watering prospect.

There is also some interesting action happening from continental Europe that we are going to be looking over as well to make our picks.

Best Football Betting Tips Today: Liverpool v Tottenham

Let’s start with the big one for football betting for today. Liverpool were stifled by an excellent Fulham performance on the weekend.

But this is still a chance for them to take over at the top of the table from Spurs.

The two clubs are level on points heading back into action.

Liverpool, with home advantage, are the 4/5 odds-on favourites for the win with bookmaker Bet365.

They do have a home form going over Tottenham. The Reds have won three of their last four at Anfield against Spurs (D1).

So the current form is there.

Liverpool has scored exactly two goals in each of their last four home league games against Spurs.

Tottenham have been a bit of a surprise package this season and they do boast the best defensive record in the top flight.

Will that defence be able to stand the test of Liverpool’s attack on the night?

Tottenham are big 10/3 underdogs for three points at Anfield.

Away from home this season Tottenham are W4 D2 but have played out back to back draws on the road.

They are taking on a Liverpool side who are a perfect six from six at home in this campaign.

Perhaps Jose Mourinho’s men come up a little short and lose their eleven match unbeaten streak.

Liverpool to win at 4/5

Football Betting Picks Today: Fulham v Brighton

This is an important clash for Fulham who will be looking to build on a huge bonus point that they took in a home draw against Liverpool on the weekend.

The Cottagers are only W1 D1 L4 at Craven Cottage this season and the lone win happened against West Brom who are currently one of two teams beneath them.

But Fulham have hit the back of the net at least in each of their last four home league games.

That gives them something to build on actually but are the 15/8 underdogs here with Bet365.

The last time that they hosted Brighton was in the Premier League and Fulham took a brilliant 4-2 win on that occasion.

That has been their only win in their last four on home turf against the Seagulls.

Brighton are 6/4 to claim what would be a welcome three points.

They have suffered back to back league losses against Southampton and Leicester leaving them winless in three.

The only two wins that Brighton have recorded this season have been out on the road (D1 L3).

This is a really tough game to call.

As the Seagulls were battered on the weekend by Leicester, we see Fulham as being the more confident of the two.

They played extremely well against Liverpool.

Fulham to win at 15/8

Football Betting Tips for Today: Arsenal v Southampton

All eyes on the Emirates then to see what could happen to Gunners boss Mikel Arteta if his side loses again.

There was a home loss against Burnley for Arsenal on the weekend and they get on paper, what is a much tougher game here against the in-form Saints.

Arsenal are 23/20 to collect the home win, something they didn’t do against Southampton last season.

There was a 2-2 draw in last season’s clash between the two clubs in North London.

Bet at Bet365

How much can Arsenal be trusted to turn this slump around? They have lost their last three league games and are winless in five (D1 L4).

Making slightly worse reading is that they are on a four-match losing streak at home and have managed to score only two goals in their last eight Premier League fixtures.

So Southampton looks like a viable football betting option here at 9/4 with Bet365.

The Saints have won four of their last six league games and have suffered just one league away defeat this season (W2 D2).

Southampton are averaging 1.8 goals per away game this season and they could be in a position to heap more misery on an already-stricken Arsenal.

Online Betting Football Tip: Inter v Napoli

We are going to the Italian top flight next for football betting tips today for a big top-three clash.

Inter are running in second place in the table at the moment and on a hot streak of form.

They have taken a four-match winning streak in their current form. Impressively they have hit at least three goals in each of those four wins as well.

Inter are 6/5 odds-against for the win in this one, but they are on a seven-match unbeaten streak of league form (W5 D2).

They are averaging 2.8 goals per home game this season.

That has just about covered up a pretty poor defensive record. Inter have conceded an average of 2 goals per home game in this campaign.

Napoli are in good shape at the moment having won their last three games on the spin. They have also won six of their last eight.

Away from home, it has been an excellent W4 L1 record from them.

But that doesn’t tell the entire tale because all four wins were against teams in the bottom half of the table.

They have lost all three games played (home and away) against current top-five sides like Inter.

That could be a telling difference.

Inter to win at 6/5

Online Betting Football Tip: Barcelona vs Sociedad

Barcelona collected a win over Levante in their last league game, a slightly uninspiring 1-0 success against Levante.

Barcelona have only earned a W5 D2 L4 record for this campaign and haven’t managed to win back to back league games since the start of October.

Their form at the Nou Camp does look alright, however.

Since losing to Real Madrid there at the end of October, Barcelona are on a three-match home winning streak in La Liga.

They are 4/7 odds-on to get one against Sociedad in midweek with bookmaker Bet365.

The form of Sociedad is quite remarkable as it stands as they have drawn their last six games in all competitions.

They are the current league leaders and have drawn their last three league games.

So a draw out of this tough away game wouldn’t be a bad return, but a win better of course. Sociedad are 17/4 underdogs at Bet365.

Away from home, they are undefeated with a W4 D2 record on the board and they have been so good in defence this season.

They could have enough to stifle a point out of their opponents.

Draw at 7/2
