There is another big night of midweek football. We are, once again, delivering today’s football betting tips for you.

There is the big Champions League action going down. Manchester City and Liverpool will be flying the flag for the Premier League.

For today’s football betting tips we are also going to be sizing up some of the action from the Championship.

Best Football Betting Tips Today: Olympiakos v Man City

Manchester City’s Premier League campaign is not going all that swimmingly. But they are top of their Champions League group.

It has been three wins for three in the competition for the Citizens so far.

They will be expected to make it four on the spin in midweek as they make the trip to Greece to face Olympiacos.

On Matchday Three, the Citizens collected a comfortable 3-0 home success against them.

They are 3/10 odds-on away from home to complete the double.

The Citizens have scored three goals in each of their three wins in this group campaign so far.

They have a pretty good track record on the road from recent away games. They have won eight of their last twelve (D2 L2).

The two defeats in that sequence both happened in England.

The only previous time that they have been to Greece they played out a 0-0 draw at Aris Thessaloniki in the 2010/11 Europa League.

Greek Champions Olympiacos have suffered just two defeats in their last 16 European home fixtures, taking ten wins in that sequence.

Their home record against English sides isn’t bad at W7 D5 L5. But they have won only one of their last five such games.

It has been a W1 L2 record that they have taken in this group so far, springing a 1-0 win over Marseille on Matchday One.

We don’t see them doing the same to City, not having already lost 2-0 at home to Porto who City have convincingly beaten.

Manchester City to win to nil at 11/10

Football Betting Picks Today: Bristol City v Watford

This is a good-looking clash in the Championship for today’s football betting tips.

Bristol City are riding high and are in great form at the moment.

The Robins are in third place in the Championship with a three-match winning streak going.

On the weekend they took a good 1-0 home win over Derby, snapping a little slump of league form at Ashton Gate.

So that will have refuelled them a bit, however, Bristol City are 13/5 underdogs for Wednesday’s game against Watford.

In their last two home games against the Hornets, Bristol City are W1 D1.

Watford have taken just two wins in their last six games in the Championship. So they aren’t running particularly hot at the moment.

On the weekend they played out a 1-1 away draw at QPR. That leaves them winless in their last three away games.

Watford have been superb at Vicarage Road this season in league action but are only W1 D3 L2 on their travels.

The bookies recognise their threat still though as they are the 23/20 favourites.

But we feel that the Robins may just have the edge over them on Wednesday. We can’t ignore Watford’s lack of road form.

Bristol City to win at 13/5

Football Betting Tips for Today: [heading]

Inter v Real Madrid

We would have thought that Group B in the Champions League would be playing out a little differently this season.

Inter badly need a win here as they are bottom of their section with a D2 L1 record having been produced.

The Italians cannot let this home game slide at all.

On Matchday Three they went to the Bernabeu to face Real Madrid and lost 3-2.

That was a great game and there is hope for them here as a 23/20 shot to collect the win.

Inter have won their last three home games against Real Madrid and are unbeaten in four.

So they have that going for them.

That Matchday Three loose ended a great nine-match unbeaten streak that they had been on against Spanish teams as well.

That result left Inter with only two victories from their last 13 Champions league matches and they badly need to get three points on Wednesday.

Real Madrid have won only two of their last seven Champions League matches, so their tournament form isn’t great either.

There have been six defeats in their last fourteen games in the tournament as well.

But they have form against Italian clubs, winning nine of their last ten such fixtures and they are on a four-match winning streak in Italy.

Real Madrid are 21/10 to pick up three points.

But they aren’t exactly in great form with no win in their last two domestic games and having only drawn at Borussia Monchengladbach in their last European away game.

Draw at 11/4

Online Betting Football Tip: Middlesbrough v Derby

Wayne Rooney’s first game in charge of Derby didn’t go to plan as the Rams suffered a 1-0 loss at Bristol City on the weekend.

That saw them stay at the foot of the table and on a three-match losing streak.

Derby are now level on points with Sheffield Wednesday who started the season with a 6-point deduction.

The overall record for the Rams this season is W1 D3 L8 and the biggest problem that they are having is putting the ball in the onion bag.

It has been just five goals that Derby have scored all season and they are the 7/2 underdogs for this trip to the Riverside.

Middlesbrough are not in any great form themselves having failed to win any of their last three league games (D2 L1).

That loss happened at home against new league leaders Norwich on the weekend.

That result snapped a 10-match unbeaten streak of form that Boro were on.

Interestingly Boro have failed to score in their last three games and only twice this season have managed to score more than one goal in a game.

So this should be a low-scoring game at the Riverside.

But Boro look to be the ones to back for the win as that loss on the weekend was their first home defeat of the campaign.

Middlesbrough to win at 10/11

Online Betting Football Tip: Liverpool v Atalanta

We round today’s football betting tips with a look at Liverpool v Atalanta.

The Reds have had their issue with injuries and health problems this season, but they keep brushing them aside.

It has been three wins from three from Jurgen Klopp’s men in the Champions League this season so they are in great shape.

They cruised to a 5-0 away win at Atalanta on Matchday Three which was supposed to be their toughest game of the campaign yet.

So it is all just business as usual for them at the moment the Reds are 8/13 for the home win in Wednesday’s Matchday four fixture.

They are yet to concede in his season’s group stage.

They hold a W8 D1 L4 record at home against Italian teams and are W3 D1 L2 in their last six such fixtures at Anfield.

That Matchday Three result was a bit of a heavy blow to Atalanta who may be thinking that their best chance lies in saving themselves to try and beat Ajax and Midtjylland in their final two group games to qualify.

This is a tough fixture for the Italians who are W1 D1 L1 this season in the Champions League.

Across all competitions, they have taken just one win in their last six games so they aren’t quite in top gear.

As the 15/4 underdogs for their midweek trip to Anfield, we just don’t see Atalanta having a huge impact.

Liverpool to win at 8/13
