Today’s football betting tips are all from the night’s action in the World Cup qualifiers.

It has been a fascinating international break and this qualification campaign in the UEFA zone has already produced some great matches.

Moving on to Wednesday night’s action, the highlight fixture should be the clash between Austria and Denmark, who are both in form.

We look at that fixture for footballl betting today and make three other tips besides the outcome of that game.

Best Football Betting Tips Today: Austria v Denmark

This should be one of the more competitive fixtures for the World Cup qualifiers on Wednesday night.

Austria are 19/10 for the home win as they look to build on the four points that they have taken from their first two.

There was a battling 2-2 draw at Scotland that they earned in their opener.

Then Austria came back from a goal behind against the Faroe Islands to bank three points.

The last time that Austria hosted Denmark, there was a 2-1 success for them in 2010.

In their last ten internationals, Austria have an impressive W7 D2 L1 record on the board

It’s been eight matches undefeated by them and they look to be in a decent enough spot.

The one concern for them will be that they have no clean sheet in four.

Denmark are bang in form as well having won seven of their last eight international (L1).

The one defeat in that sequence was at Belgium in the Nations League in November.

In each of their last five games, they have scored at least two goals and return to action after thumping Moldova 9-0 on Wednesday.

Denmark just looks to have the extra scoring threat about them and have beaten slightly stronger opposition than what Austria have in the last six months or so.

Denmark to win at 29/20

Football Betting Picks Today: Northern Ireland v Bulgaria

Northern Ireland need to get a win on the board on Wednesday night when they face Bulgaria.

They suffered a 2-0 loss in Italy to start their World Cup qualifications.

Then on the weekend they played a friendly against the USA and lost that.

All that means that Northern Ireland, who are 10/11 odds-on favourites for this game, are only D4 L6 in their last ten fixtures.

But as a positive, they have scored in all but one of their last five.

So for today’s football betting, they may be worth backing just to sneak a home win out of this.

Bulgaria shouldn’t be a huge threat, although they have won their two previous visits to Belfast 1-0.

They lost their two World Cup qualifiers players, going down by two-goal margins against Switzerland and Italy.

Bulgaria have claimed one win in their last ten games, that being an international friendly at home against Gibraltar.

There is a quote of 18/5 on the win for Bulgaria.

In the Nations League, they lost at Wales and failed to beat the out-of-sorts Ireland in two matches (D2).

Northern Ireland to win at 10/11

Football Betting Tips for Today: Greece v Georgia

Greece are the 13/20 favourites on home soil to win this qualifier on Wednesday night.

They are undefeated in their last six games, so the current form has been good.

Greece earned a point in their opening qualifier for the World Cup 2020 and it was a great one.

That was a 1-1 draw away at Spain in which they did a great job of frustrating their opponents.

Greece are W3 D1 in their last four home games against Georgia and therefore look a solid selection for football betting tips today.

Georgia have lost four of their last five games (D1) including their first two games in this campaign.

Those were 1-goal margin defeats against Sweden and Spain.

So those were actually credible results, but we just don’t see them breaking down a well-organised Greek side after a busy run of fixtures.

Greece to win at 13/20

Online Betting Football Tip: Armenia v Romania

This is an interesting qualifier as Romania are 10/11 favourites away from home for the win.

They claimed a home win over North Macedonia to start their qualifiers but then lost ground with a home defeat against Germany.

That was only a 1-0 scoreline so it wasn’t a terrible outcome at all.

On their last visit to Armenia, Romania claimed a win, following up on a 1-1 draw on their first visits.

Romania should be slightly the stronger of the two but they are only D1 L2 in their last three international away games.

It’s fascinating because Armenia are in a confident mood having won their last four games.

Thanks to clean sheet victories over Liechtenstein and Iceland, they already hold an advantage in the group over Romania.

Can they push on from there? We think that on home turf that they can.

In this winning sequence, they too claimed a win over North Macedonia in the Nations League.

Overall they haven’t lost any of their last seven fixtures, winning five of those.

The home win may be worth a look.

Armenia to win at 3/1
