The UEFA Champions League quarter-finals continue on Wednesday night and we will look at both matches for today’s football betting tips.

That includes a heavyweight clash between reigning champions Bayern Munich and PSG, a repeat of last season’s Final.

For the other fixtures in today’s football betting, we are going to continental Europe to look at Serie A and La Liga.

Best Football Betting Tips Today: FC Porto v Chelsea

This is quarter-final action from the Champions League for today’s football betting.

It has been a relatively straight forward campaign in the tournament from Chelsea.

After a comfortable group stage, they made light work of Atletico Madrid in the Round of 16.

That was a 3-0 aggregate win the Blues took against Atleti.

This does, on paper at least, look like the easiest draw that they could have gotten at this stage.

Chelsea have lost only one of their last fifteen away games in Europe (W11 D3).

The Premier League side have a W10 D1 L2 record against Portuguese clubs. That’s W3 D1 L2 in Portugal.

Porto’s record in the quarter-finals of the European Cup is W2 L6.

In the round of sixteen, they were up against Juventus and despite losing the second leg 3-2 in extra time in Turin, they won through on away goals.

That has been their only loss in this season’s competition.

They have dropped only three of their last 10 European home games (W5 D2).

Porto’s record in two-legged ties with English clubs is W3 L9.

They don’t have home advantage either as this is being played on neutral territory in Spain.

Chelsea to win at 3/4

Football Betting Picks Today: Bayern Munich v PSG

Last season’s Champions League final was won by Bayern Munich, against PSG.

The two clubs come together earlier this season in the quarter-finals.

Before last season’s final seven of the eight previous clashes had been won by the home side on the day.

Bayern have won 17 of their last 18 Champions League fixtures now.

It’s remarkable stuff and they are 19/20 odds-on favourites to win this first leg.

PSG have a W17 D4 L5 record in their last 26 Champions League matches.

They have won 9 of their last 16 road games in the competition as well.

But they are the 13/5 underdogs for this first leg.

In Germany, PSG are on a three-match losing streak.

They have taken a W3 L3 record from their last six fixtures against German sides.

Bayern Munich to win at 19/20

Football Betting Tips for Today: Inter v Sassuolo

Inter appear to be on an unstoppable march to the Serie A title this season.

They are now eight points clear at the top with a game in hand over nearest challengers as well.

Inter took a 1-0 away win at Bologna on the weekend.

That was their ninth straight league success and in that sequence, they have earned seven clean sheets.

So they kick off in midweek as the 3/10 favourites.

On home turf in league action, Inter have won 10 straight fixtures, unbeaten in 11.

So it’s not unreasonable to expect them to have things their own way in this fixture.

Earlier this season they cruised to a 3-0 win at Sassuolo.

Sassuolo are big 9/1 underdogs for the fixture.

It has been one victory for them in their last six league outings (D3 L2).

Their away record is W6 D3 L5 in the top flight this season.

Sassuolo have lost their last two road fixtures. They conceded at least two goals in both.

This season Sassuolo have lost three of four away games played against current top-six teams.

Inter to win to nil at 11/10

Online Betting Football Tip: Juventus v Napoli

Despite both being top-five sides, neither Juventus nor Napoli are going to catch Inter in the title race.

So this is a big fight instead only for a top-four finish.

Juventus are holding down that fourth place on goal difference only over Napoli.

So this is a game of huge importance for Champions League ambitions.

Juventus have seen their form slip, taking one point from their last two league games.

They suffered a shock defeat in their last home game against Benevento last month.

But their overall record in Turin this season in Serie action is W10 D2 L2.

They had been on a seven-match winning streak at home before that blip against Benevento.

Juventus average just over two goals per home game. They have conceded at under a goal per fixture on average.

The home win for Juventus is at 19/20

Napoli have the chance to do the season double over Juventus.

It was a 1-0 home win that they took against the Old Lady earlier in the campaign.

Napoli arrive in great form, having put together a four-match winning streak.

They dropped only two points in their last six league games, improving to a W8 D1 L5 away record.

In their last two away games, they have won at AC Milan and Roma with a clean sheet.

They may be worth considering.

Napoli to win at 13/5

Online Betting Football Tip: Sociedad v Athletic Bilbao

It’s off to Spain next for today’s best football betting tips.

Sociedad are 11/10 favourites on home turf to get the win.

This is a big game for them because a victory would put them in the top five.

They need a boost though as they have lost their last two league fixtures against Granada and Barcelona.

The latter was a 6-1 hammering in late March.

But they had been on a three-match winning streak at home in La Liga before that.

Sociedad also claimed a 1-0 away win at Athletic Bilbao this season.

Bilbao are in mid-table with little to play for.

It’s been a tough campaign away from home for them, posting on a W2 D5 L7 record on their travels.

It has been only one defeat for Bilbao in their last eight league fixtures (W2 D5).

That was against Atletico Madrid. So they have been tough to knockdown.

A win looks unlikely, however, given their road record and there is a quote of 13/5 on them earning three points.

Bilbao have lost one of their last four away games, but they look a long way short of taking a win.

Sociedad to win at 11/10
