RED RISK is the favourite for this content at 2/1* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 23:37 GMT on Thursday, 19th November 2020). The Pual Nicholls-trained gelding has put a reappearance run on the board for the season.

That was at Market Rasen last month and it should have sharpened him up.

Red Risk did take a win in two of his final three runs of last season. It is probable that he will have a say in this contest as he is at the same mark currently.

However we are looking at the quote of 11/2 on DEAUVILLE DANCER for our selection* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 23:37 GMT on Thursday, 19th November 2020).

He has a new yard, now with Olly Murphy. We like the look of him because he is on a very workable mark and therefore should be a belt mount a big challenge.

Deavulle Dancer only had two runs last season, but needs to find his way onto the shortlist.

The final selection for this race will be a chance on ESPOIR DE GUYE.

The last time he was seen was blowing his lines at the Cheltenham Festival. But he was bang on form before that, winning back to back fixtures.

One of those was in the mud here at Ascot in December when he destroyed the field. Espoir de Guye has claims.

The race favourite for this contest is STORMIN NORMAN at 5/2* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 23:37 GMT on Thursday, 19th November 2020). He posted a win on his reappearance run for Micky Hammond, which was in a maiden hurdle at Sedgefield.

There should be even more to come from the former bumper winner.

Stormin Norman had also taken a win at the back end of last season as well. With a 3lb claimer to boot then there is an extra boost for him.

He has proven already to have plenty of staying power and he looks to be the one to beat.

SHE’S A DANCER looks to have plenty of improvement to come. She scored at a similar distance at Sedgefield last month.

That was after a fifth place finish on her reappearance run.

In that Sedgefield win, she didn’t look completely composed and accomplished. The more experience she gets this sphere, the better she will be.

We would have to throw PENPAL onto the shortlist on what will be his first run for Micky hammond. Penpal scored a win on his reappearance, a victory over the hurdles at Pau in May.

Penpal has been kept busy on the flat so has had plenty of air in his lungs and we expect him to come up with a fair challenge.

Race Favourite

The race favourite for this trip is BUZZ at even money* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 23:37 GMT on Thursday, 19th November 2020). He was in top form on his return, so we expect even more from him this time around.

He appeared at Ffos Las for his return and despite not being that well placed in that Welsh Champion Hurdle he took a very good third place finish. That was in a really strong handicap contest over a 2m distance finishing 3l behind Sceaux Royal.

The latter has since gone on to win the Greatwood Hurdle. Buzz is only up 1lb in the ratings and is a big player here.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

ECCO does have some claims in this one. He is a course and distance winner and gets the cheek pieces on for the first time.

He was last seen in that Welsh Champion Hurdle where he was well held in eight place. Ecco needs a boost because that continues a string of below-par performances in this sphere. The headgear probably isn’t going to be enough.

The other that piques a little bit of interest for place claims is CLOUD GATE. This will be his reappearance run of the season and looked to be coming on really well over the hurdles last season. I

t’s been a long 22 months since he last ran however, but if he is sharp then he could have a decent chance being so well treated.

Heading up this smaller field is RED GIANT at 9/4* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 23:37 GMT on Thursday, 19th November 2020). He has looked a better contender for taking on a more positive role in race.

It paid off for Red Giant on his last trip as he won at Sedgefield Last month.

That saw him really shrug off some indifferent form and the score came from a 16/1 SP over a 3m 5f distance. There was no hint that that was coming.

He is still well rated at the moment because of his previous poor form. Will he be able to take advantage of that?

ASK PADDY should have a say in this one. It’s hard to ignore his form at least, because has won his last four on the spin.

He has not been in action since February though, but if that is not a factor then he has a big chance of getting close.

Ask Paddy is up 8lb in the ranting and he will have the tongue strap back on.

The other one for the list is going to be I JUST KNOW who looks to be well handicapped. He has had a reappearance run, where he was down the field at Carlisle.

But he had actually been travelling well in that contest. He continues to fall down the ratings and he’s going to hit a sweet spot soon. I Just Know is worth watching.

We return to action for our next horse racing betting. MR MULDOON is the 3/1 favourite for this one* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 23:37 GMT on Thursday, 19th November 2020). It is hard to argue with the progressive hurdler.

He returned to action this season entering the chasing sphere for the first time and performed very well. That was at Sedgefield a month ago and Mr Muldoon showed a good attitude to post a win in that one.

So that was a hugely positive result and he should push on.

Mr Muldooon did score a hurdle win here at Ascot last winter and he comes into handicap company for the first time with big claims.

ONEFORTHEROADTOM makes his reappearance in this one. He showed a good attitude when he was at Fakenham at the end of last season to collect a win there.

This is going to be a tougher test for him and he gets a small rise in the rating. But the Harry Fry-trained Onefortheroadtom is a handy chaser and has some place claims.

We are also considering CALTEX for the fixture as well. He has had a reappearance which saw him take a 5th place finish at Ayr.

It wasn’t the greatest of runs. But he scored for this new yard at Leicester in February on his final run of last season. He could be that much better for that Ayr trip.

We down to our final horse racing of the day and we are looking at SEXY LOT as the 8/11 favourite* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 23:37 GMT on Thursday, 19th November 2020). He posted a win on his last run, showing a lot of improvement.

That was fourth time over the hurdles for him, getting the score at Ffos Las just 9 days ago.

Sexy Lot stays at the same mark and has plenty of appeal for this contest. That win in Wales was delivered by more than eight lengths.

He’s the one to beat not having taken on a penalty.

MADE FOR YOU is expected to come up with another solid run. He has looked better and better under handicapping.

He made his reappearance at Kelso recently, collecting a second place finish there. Made For You has been in the frame in each of his last three now and warrants some respect.

The final selection is going to be a slightly riskier one on MERE ANARCHY. He put in a second place finish in his reappearance.

That was a nice boost of form form him as he wasn’t always the most consistent over the hurdles last season. He has a 3lb claimer and the visor on.

Mere Anarchy was only beaten by the in-form MAIN FACT last time otu.
