Today’s horse racing tips for Friday sees some big action coming in from Sandown with some pattern company cards.
The top race of the day is the bet365 Mile (Group 2) from the venue on a big day of racing from the venue.
Along with selections from Sandown, we have chasing selections from Chepstow and Perth.

ALCOHOL FREE is expected to put on a big run with the hood on for the first time on Friday8.
She picked up a big win at the top level last season, winning the Sussex Stakes, which was the third Group 1 success that she has landed in her career.
Alcohol Free will be returning from a break in this fixture and will be looking for a revival refreshed as the form fell away at the end of the campaign.
MUSTAABEQ is a threat to the favourite in this contest and should be a lot stronger than when he was seen in the 2000 Guineas last term.
He put in a credible finish to land in the middle of the pack in that. His follow up races in pattern company weren’t quite as convincing.
However, Mustang arrived at Sandown on Friday with some match sharpness on his side after winning at Thirsk on his season renewal.
SUNRAY MAJOR is worth revisiting after putting in a poor run to finish last season, things not going his way in the Balmoral Handicap.
But Sunday Major has some strong form from before that, including back to back wins including a wonderful Ascot win in October.
It would not be a surprise to see him come on even stronger this season. There was a reappearance victory for him at the start of the previous campaign too.

GOLDSPUR opened his account with success here at Sandown in November over a 1m trip.
The follow up wasn’t bad either, taking the Group 3 Zetland.
With a third-place finish to follow in a Group 1 in France last time out, Goldspur clearly sets the standard in this one.
RIVER THAMES made a very encouraging start by winning his debut at Punchestown back in September at a 1m trip.
River Thames cost a pretty penny and is superbly bred, so he may be able to feature strongly on his seasonable reappearance.
CASH is another that warrants some respect after landing a good score on his debut which was at 1m.
That victory for Cash was delivered on the Rowley and there should be a lot more to come from him with some decent breeding potentially working to his benefit.

MOSTAHDAF is the market favourite for this contest and that’s not too surprising given the astonishing season that he put together.
He answered most challenges that were thrown at him, the only loss in six runs coming in the St James’s Palace.
Mostahdaf did win a couple of victories at Sandown the last term as well.
There was a Group 3 success at Newmarket, Mostahdaf taking down the subsequent winner of the Cambridge in that.
FOXES TALES well warrants his place in this contest, which has only three declared runners disappointingly.
There was plenty of improvement by Foxes Tales last season, racking up three victories during the campaign.
The pick of his form was a handicap score at Royal Ascot at this distance, and a Haydock Group 3 success.
JUAN ELCANO was a little hit and miss this season, but showed glimpses of promise and potential.
There was a victory in the Wolferton Stakes at Royal Ascot by him on this trip.
The follow up weren’t quite as notable, and looks to have a lot to find even in this small field.

BLUE TRAIL makes the move onto the turf for the first time in his short career on Friday.
On the all-weather, Blue Trial has won two of four runs. He was a little disappointing on his hattrick bid three weeks ago.
But Blue Trail is from a top yard which is in current good form and he should have a big chance of bouncing back to winning ways.
NUVOLARI banked a victory on his debut run at Epsom last September, which is a nice piece of foam to look at.
He wasn’t quite as sharp on his follow, needing more. But there’s potential there and steps into handicapping for the first time.
FIND was third in a conditions event at Chelmsford on his latest run, which was three weeks ago.
He had Blue Trail behind him that day. That was a good step forward in progress for Find who could be worth considering for the shortlist.
WANEES is seeking a hattrick on Friday on what is his reappearance run. The hood will be on for the first time.
He will probably have a lot more to offer as he comes up to 1m for the first time.
Wanees is an expensive colt whose scores last season came at Ascot and Salisbury.

MINELLA TRUMP warrants some big respect as he comes back up on a trip looking to bounce back to winning ways.
He really hasn’t put a foot wrong for his yard and will probably continue to thrive. Minella Trump was a runner up as a favourite at Ludlow.
He didn’t quite have his top jumping form together that day, as he saw his tremendous 7 race winning streak end.
Minella Trump is only 4lb above his last winning mark.
SMOKING GUN failed to get very far in the Irish National last weekend at Fairyhouse.
So he’s quickly turned back out. Smoking Gun has a good attitude and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him bounce back.
GUY is the other selection for this one as he remains at the same mark as a runner-up finish last time out. That was at Ludlow on a 3m trip.
Guy does look like a handy chaser, with a runner-up spot claimed in all but one of his five efforts over the fences this term.

PINK EYEd PEDRO is a former course and distance winner, although it has been a while since he has won anywhere.
He was last seen in the Topham a couple of weeks ago, in which he shaped much better than he has done recently.
That could give him something to build on.
DUBLIN FOUR was running well at Newbury on his latest effort, which was three weeks ago.
He lost his rider but was looking like a threat there at a venue at which he won earlier in the campaign. Dublin Four warrants respect.
L’AIR DU VENT could be another to watch in this wide-open handicap, with a third-place finish at Stratford on his latest effort.
There had been very little form from him before that.
But back in November, he doubled his tally over the fences with a win at Exeter.
Clearly tough to catch right, but a revival could be on.
