We have narrowed our horse racing tips for Friday to come from Exeter and Warwick only.

The big feature race of the day for us in the Exeter 14:35 a Mares’ Chase (Listed) fixture.

We have STORM FORCE BEN as the 2/1 market leader for the Chudleigh Handicap hurdle* (betting odds recorded 22:58 GMT on February 25th, 2021 at William Hill).

He has been in good shape this season and put on a very good effort to make third on his reappearance run at Chepstow.

There was further progress from him last time out as Storm Force Ben found only one too good.

That was at course and distance seven weeks ago and he has to be right back in the frame one would think.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

We would expect WOUDYOUBEWELL to be right in the frame as well.

In December she picked up a victory on her first run under rules, which was at Uttoxeter.

She backed that up with a very good fourth place at Wincanton under penalty. There’s plenty more to come now handicapping.

We are going to swing with BUSTER EDWARDS as the other one for the shortlist.

He is coming back to this sphere on a very good mark. He hasn’t been in the greatest of form over the fences recently, but this could be an easier ask of him.

The current 9/4 favourite for this mares’ action is MIDNIGHTREFERNDUM* (betting odds recorded 22:58 GMT on February 25th, 2021 at William Hill).

There has been a lot of positive form from her this season. She made a winning start for Alan King over the fences at Fontwell in November in a maiden.

In the two efforts that she has since completed, she finished in the places in Listed fixtures.

The 3m trip here doesn’t appear to be a problem for her, so Midnightreferendum should be well in this.

MOMELLA may well be worth revisiting. She wasn’t at her best last time out in a stronger Listed fixture at Warwick earlier this month.

That was a missed opportunity at landing a three-timer so the previous form can still be used as an indicator.

She is a big threat if she’s back on top of her game and Momella makes it as our 15/8 selection* (betting odds recorded 22:58 GMT on February 25th, 2021 at William Hill).

PINK LEGEND is worth a look as well in this one and she appears to be the best of the rest.

She claimed a second-place finish on her latest run which was at Wetherby.

She had to work really hard to get that and could be a bit more suited to taking on this longer challenge.

Pink Legend has stayed in form since a win in her reappearance this season.

He should rightly be considered after getting back on track with a second-place finish here at Exeter on his latest run. That was 47 days ago.

Samuel Jackson missed all of last season but has been slowly getting back to form on his return and looks to be the evidence of that latest run, to be getting back to peak form.

CHRISTMAS IN APRIL was last year’s winner of this one and we like that he had a good run at Fontwell in November on his return.

He failed to contend in the Welsh National on his follow up race as he put in a really poor run in that one.

Last year’s win in this race was from 6lb down in the ratings, but Christmas In April does have place claims.

Our selection for the win is SPECIAL ACCEPTANCE.

He has done very well in defeat in the last two runs and looks ready for this epic test of stamina.

Special Acceptance has come up 8lb in the ratings after another good run at Doncaster a month ago.

He keeps the cheekpieces on which has helped get him together.

Earlier this season Rose of Aghaboe picked up a score on what was her chasing debut at Leicester and she has won three times this season.

She couldn’t follow up that form at Southwell on her next run, which was a shot at a three-timer.

But has gone to bumpers since then, collecting a win at Lingfield before finishing well down the field at Kempton.

Our pick is SHENEEDEDTHERUN who scored a four-timer last season.

At the end of the previous campaign, she finished with a credible fourth in the Midlands National.

On her reappearance run, she was third at Haydock in November and this is a much easier assignment.

She picked up a score at Fontwell last month after a couple of months off the track. The tongue tie worked out well for her and she retains that here.

There has been a 4lb bump up the ratings for Lily The Pink, but she easily looks shortlist material for this contest.

With Fontaine Collonges withdrawing, Lily The Pink is the one to beat.

COMMITTEE OF ONE needs a big performance to back up her win at Ffos Las three weeks ago.

She shook up the field with a win there from a 66/1 SP and from 9lb out of the weights as well.

That was a remarkable run from out of nowhere. Is that her true potential though?

PANIC ATTACK didn’t get going at Newbury on her latest run, but the conditions weren’t in her favour there.

In her penultimate run, Panic Attack has scored at Newbury and in good style as well. So that is more a mark of her progress than her follow up.

He opened the season with a victory in his reappearance at Ascot this season.

Espoir De Guye struggled a little bit on his follow up but then responded excellently to take fourth place back at the venue last month.

Brain Hughes is in the saddle and Espoir De Guye warrants some respect for this handicap chase.

SPRINGTOWN LAKE warrants respect as well. He was the winner of this fixture twelve months ago but from a 5lb lower mark.

But he looks a big contender once again as he drops back to the 2m 4f trip.

Springtown Lake also gets the blinkers for the first time as he looks to build on a fifth place in the Rowland Meyrick last time out.

The other for the shortlist is going to be PRECIOUS CARGO who arrives following a wind op.

There was a second-place encouraging finish for him on his reappearance at Huntingdon in November.

He is looking to land a double after a score at Uttoxeter 5 days ago, which just builds on a lot of his early-season promise.

Eaton Miller stays at the same mark as well now back over the timber, so it’s likely that the is going to be right about there in the mix.

UISCE UR has a chance of entering calculations in this one as he comes up 5lb following a win at Doncaster last time out.

That was a big step forward in form for the season and it came in a big field of 18 as well. There’s a chance that he will put together another bold run.

The other selection for the short slits is going to be TIPALONG TYLER who has shown good form.

She scored at Doncaster in December and had plenty in hand in that one.

She followed that up a month later with a fourth-place back at the same venue.

Tipalong Tyler is a four-time course and distance winner.
