Today’s horse racing tips are only going to be from National Hunt action. While there are flat meetings at Newcastle and Lingfield, we are only looking at the jumps.

So it’s to Musselburgh and Newbury we go for our horse racing tips today.

There are some excellent races around, particularly at Musselburgh with ITM Northern Lights series finals fixtures happening.

The race favourite for this opening look at Friday’s racing is CORRANY at 7/2* (betting odds recorded 19:16 GMT on March 25th, 2021 2021 at William Hill).

There has been clear improved performances from him on his last two runs. The latter of which ended up being a score at Huntingdon 19 days ago.

That was in a maiden and now he’s off the mark for trainer Nicky Henderson, there could be more to come from him back in handicap company. Corrany rates as a threat up 10lb.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

OCEAN COVE benefitted from a wind op as he powered his way to a win at Doncaster last month. That was a much-improved effort from him in chasing and it is was at a 3m trip. He has a little extra effort to find with a 5lb rise in the ratings, but he cannot be counted out of this.

ADMIRAL BARRATRY is worth a look as well. He looked to be heading in the right direction in chasing this term. He picked up a win at Fakenham three races ago and followed up immediately with a runner-up spot at the same venue.

Admiral Barratry made a huge mistake at the first on his latest run at Sandown two weeks ago. But he is well worth another look at 13/2 odds* (betting odds recorded 19:16 GMT on March 25th, 2021 2021 at William Hill).

He looked more comfortable on a step up to a 3m trip in a handicap here in his penultimate race. That may be a good indicator that there’s more to come.

12 days after that second-place finish he was well below par over the hurdles at course and distance. It may have been a little too soon for him. Howling Milan is worth revisiting.

SUPREMELY LUCKY is going to be our horse racing tip at 7/2* (betting odds recorded 19:16 GMT on March 25th, 2021 2021 at William Hill). He looks built for more after scoring handicap hurdle debut last month at Warwick.

He couldn’t quite follow up as a favourite in a chase effort to follow up, but it continued some very good form that he has shown.

STORM GODDESS lost her rider in the Pertemps at Cheltenham but warrants some respect in this one. The latest win over the hurdles that she had was in November and put in a good effort in a listed company there on a follow-up.

The waters are going to be a lot calmer for her here than at Cheltenham and the conditions suit.

The race favourite in this fixture is SAINT DE REVE at 9/4* (betting odds recorded 19:16 GMT on March 25th, 2021 2021 at William Hill). This looks like a very competitive race.

Saint De Reve completed his first run of the campaign, having failed to do so in two previous efforts. That resulted in a second-place for him at Wincanton three weeks ago.

That was on a drop in trip as well, so the extra couple of furlongs here is probably going to suit the Paul Nicholls 7-year-old well.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

HES NO TROUBLE should have a big say in this contest. He collected a recent win at Wetherby, with the cheekpieces on for the first time making a big difference.

There is an 8 rise in the ratings that he does have to deal with and he also moves up in distance. But there are solid claims there without question.

BUSTER THOMAS may be the other one to watch in this field. He pulled up at Ludlow on his latest effort, but that was about three months ago so he is rested.

Before that Ludlow misfire, he had been in the frame in four straight efforts this season.

He nailed the third win in his last five races on a trip three weeks ago at Kelso. Cedar Hill now makes a return to this sphere and looks as if he poses a threat in it after chasing.

So he’s on a revised mark back over the timbers and he is 9lb down from his last chasing mark. So that’s a big helping hand and has to be strongly respected in this contest.

OAKMONT looks to be on a good, competitive mark to launch a bold bit. He has yet to get off the mark over the hurdles but is on a mark where he can work.

He had a good sharpener recently as well with a run on the flat at Newcastle a couple of weeks ago. Well worth watching in the market in a wide-open field.

Our horse racing tip is going to be DUBAI DAYS at 13/2* (betting odds recorded 19:16 GMT on March 25th, 2021 2021 at William Hill). It has been two wins in his last three races. A month ago he showed a lot of improvement to get the second handicap success of the season.

That was at Wetherby and he was in a commanding mood to get that done. Dubai Days just pulled away comfortably after having cleared the last. There’s a big 12lb rise in the ratings for him, but his last two wins now have been wonderfully impressive.

He picked up a win thirteen days ago at Hereford, winning handicap there twice in his last three runs actually.

A little more will be asked of him coming up 5lb in the ratings, but he was also a course and distance winner back in November. Ratfacemcdougall certainly warrants respect in the contest

UK Racing Odds & Tips

BULLION BOSS looks like a giant threat in this one as he looks for a response to a poor run last time out. He was heavily beaten here at Musselburgh last time out. He never looked a place on a shorter trip and the move back up in distance is likely to suit him.

Bullion Boss scored a great course and distance handicap on New Year’s Day and is worth revisiting at 9/2* (betting odds recorded 19:16 GMT on March 25th, 2021 2021 at William Hill).

We think that because Bryan Hughes has been booked, PAMMI could launch a good effort here. She was in very good shape here in her penultimate run, taking a third-place finish.

There was a poor effort at Ayr last time out, but the conditions weren’t in her favour underfoot at all. Pammi’s two previous wins came with Hughes on her back and she piques interest, therefore.

CALLIOPE then was right there in third place behind Millie The Minx over course and distance last time out. She gets a 5lb favour in the weights against that rival and that could be a difference-maker.
