Today’s horse racing tips for Friday look at an interesting day of racing. We have seven tips and none are from fixtures lower than Class 3.

There’s a mix of flat racing and jumps racing that we have to dig through. The top race of the day is the Newmarket 15:30 which is a Class 2 run.

He’s very interesting as he has not had a run for two years. But in that gap, he has been gelded and was going along well during the last season that he had.

Of course, it is a big absence to overcome. However, pretty much every runner in this race has a question mark hanging over their chances.

TYSON FURY steps into handicapping for the first time. He has been given a lot of hard challenges so far, so this drop in grade represents a fair chance in calmer waters.

FABILIS is unexposed at this trip and was nothing more than a middle of the pack finisher at Goodwood last time out.

This is an easier contest and a couple of credible runner-up sports this season could see the son of Frankel contend.

There are plenty with claims in this contest as well. SINGLE is very interesting after going close at Newmarket on her latest.

The most recent win that Single put on the board was back in may and she has remained consistent since then.

AUTUMN WAR has had to settle for second on his last two runs at Haydock and Newmarket. He appears to be in fairly good shape and looks like a lively contender.

She has been in cracking form, missing out on a hat-trick last time out with a second-place at Redcar. That was only a narrow loss though and we expect her to bounce straight back.

VISION OF VICTORY returns following a wind operation.

This will be just her fourth appearance and handicap debut, but she hasn’t as of yet, translated all-weather form onto the turf.

HIPSWAY looks the other most likely to put in a challenge.

She was a little unlucky to face a talented one last time out at Musselburgh, having to settle for second. This is more within her range.

This may be all about whether or not PLATINUMCARD can get the better of the highly impressive MAHRAJAAN.

At a quote of 6/1 there is interest in Platinumcard as a horse racing tip* (betting odds recorded 18:16 GMT on 26th August 2021 at Bet365).

He has been thriving on the flat and completed a hat trick here at Hamilton on his latest run. That was just 10 days ago.

He’s fit and strong at the moment, with four wins in five on the flat. There could be more to come from him.

Mahrajaan is odds-on and an obvious threat. He has done so well in his three starts and now sits on a hattrick chance.

His latest score at Ripon was impressive and the runner up in that race has since gone on to win.

There was a win for LOVE IS GOLDEN on his latest run. That was at Chester and therefore that puts him on the shortlist with place claims.

SECRETINTHEPARK is our 11/1 horse racing tip for this wide-open contest* (betting odds recorded 18:16 GMT on 26th August 2021 at Bet365).

He has won two of his last four. The latest of those for Rebecca Menzies was her at Thirsk a couple of weeks ago. The 11-year-old looked sharp and may be worth chancing once again.

INTRINSIC BOND is likely to be a big player in the contest as well.

He was last seen at Ripon in the Great St Wilfrid last time out, putting in a credible fourth-place finish. There looks to be more to come from him.

The other selection for the shortlist in this bigger field is RATHBONE.

He is a former course and distance winner and went close at Newmarket two weeks ago after a slow start. There’s a 7lb claimer on his back which puts Rathbone in the frame.

CAIRN GORM is down 4lb from when he took a good fifth in a rich course and distance handicap here in July. The former Group 3 winner definitely rates a threat.

She comes up just 1lb from a third-place earned at Doncaster three weeks ago. It’s been a good overall season from Dalanijujo which opened with a score at Yarmouth.

LOLA SHOWGIRL has shown winning form recently. She opened her account this season with back to back wins.

She struggled a little among Listed company recently, but this is much calmer waters.

STUNNING BEAUTY is the final one for the shortlist.

A score in June at Doncaster showed what she is capable of and was back in good form with a place finish at Newmarket 41 days ago.
