The day’s best racing tips come from Carlisle, Brighton, Chepstow and Pontefract, with Class 4 handicap at the top level.

ELEGANT ERIN arrives in winning form after collecting a screw at Beverley 17 days ago.
She was dominant at the finish in that one. Elegant Erin could have even more to come as she is moved up 5lb for Friday’s run.
VENTURA FLAME produced a convincing course and distance win 11 days ago.
She will be under a 5lb penalty for Friday’s run. Ventura Flame warrants respect after her excellent performance in the mud.
EY UP IT’S MAGGIE is a former course and distance winner and was in excellent form at York six days ago.
She was ridden quite aggressively in that one. Eyes Up Its Maggie has been consistently in the frame this season, she’s just missing the score.

WYNFORD returns at the same mark as she was 10 days ago when there was a credible effort at Nottingham.
Wynford is a previous course winner and looks to be in good heart at the moment. It’s been back to back solid efforts and he warrants respect.
ZINC WHITE is seeking a hat-trick in this sphere, but he returns to the level for the first time in over a year.
He was last seen taking on the hurdles for the first time seven months ago after switching yards. But he moved back to the flat where he could retain some potential.
ERNESTO has not claimed a victory since 2019 but he still has claims for Friday’s efforts.
While he does need a touch of a revival after a below-par effort at Ascot three weeks ago, Ernesto looks the best of the rest.

BATCHELOR BOY was a winner on his latest run so he brings forward some positives with him.
His latest win was a month ago here at Brighton, as he just about had enough to hang on for the win.
Bachelor Boy is down 1f from that effort, so another bold effort is likely to come.
THE LAMPLIGHTER was a runner up at Goodwood on his return to action last month. He was a little unlucky in the contest as well.
So he is worth revisiting, because a similar kind of effort, with meeting traffic hindrances, should put him right there.
TOUESSROK is interesting as he makes the switch back to the turf which could aid a revival.
He struggled at the finish at Chelmsford City two weeks ago, going wide and leaving too much to do. This may be more within his range.

WAY OF LIFE has continued to thrive after making it three wins from three runs this year.
His latest score, which was in a Newbury handicap two weeks ago, saw him extend his current winning form to five.
Way Of Life looked to have more in him as well in picking up the win. He should make his presence felt once more.
ROSCIOLI ran into a spot of brother at Goodwood a month ago, scuppering a potentially better finish than his four.
The race wasn’t particularly panning out in his favour anyway. But it was a solid, encouraging run and Roscioli warrants respect.
DAPHNE MAY took a win on her reappearance run at Lingfield in April, a positive start to the new campaign.
Then she followed that up with a fourth place finish back at the same venue three weeks ago, again running with credit.
Daphne May retains the hood that served her well last time out.

MAJESKI MAN has claimed a win in half of his four efforts for this year, the most recent of those wins happening at Salisbury in April.
Majeski Man put in another good effort which was a third-place finish at Windsor in a handicap 25 days ago.
The blinkers will be on for the first time and he looks to be on a good mark to put together another positive challenge.
IGOTATEXT arrives for a new yard on Friday and warrants some recent after a credible effort at Southwell a couple of months ago.
There were a couple of place finishes for him earlier in the campaign. Igotatext is winless in eleven runs but carries place claims.
AIRSHOW has had a good year with three wins from ten, the most recent one of those happening on his penultimate outing.
That victory was followed up by another consistent run, taking a runner up at Bath. Airshow will likely produce another positive run.

He was only knocked over by a good progressive one last time out at Leicester 11 days ago.
Dream Composer comes back at the same mark and is a threat.
VENTURA EXPRESS needs to be respected as well after picking up a couple of course and distance wins last year.
He was fourth after a break of four months at Thirsk two weeks ago.
The win was well beyond him, but Ventura Express should be much sharper for the effort.
TAR HEEL took second place at Ayr nine days ago, looking stronger on a reduced mark.
The cheekpieces go on for the first time as he was only narrowly touched off. He is going to go up 5lb in the future, so Tar Heel may be worth following now.
