FRANKENSTELLA is a clear front runner for this contest at 4/5 odds-on* (betting odds recorded 23:09 GMT on May 27th 2021 at William Hill).

She won at Haydock last weekend in some heavy conditions on a 2m trip. At this 2m 1f trip she scored a victory at Pontefract last July as well.

She will be carrying a 5lb penalty for that recent score, but she is on the up and looking super progressive at the moment.

If the mood is right, then Frankenstella is going to take some beating.

As for challengers for the places, we would have to look towards CLEARANCE, while SNOOKERED has a good record behind him at this distance so can get in the frame.

This is a wide open affair at Carlisle. ZOROVAN and LITTLE TED look to be a couple of the stronger options in the field.

She had her reappearance at Lingfield a month ago and never really put together a good run there. She was far too wide and wasn’t seen to the best of her ability.

She does look as if she has a lot of potential in handicapping based on her form last year. There is potential there and gets the nod.

CORMIER has to be the way to go in this on at a quote of 6/5* (betting odds recorded 23:09 GMT on May 27th 2021 at William Hill).

The last time he was seen was in the Swinton Hurdle when he put in a brilliant effort to take second.

That was three weeks ago and with a progressive previous season in this sphere, he has to be a strong pick.

Cormier had such a good time on the flat at the end of the last campaign, he has to feature back at this level.

There doesn’t appear to be too much to oppose him either in this one. CHAIRMAN POWER has slipped back to a potentially positive mark and is down in trip which could suit.

SUDONA has made some steady progress this season and has had a pound shaved off from her previous effort, so place claims are there.

Back in February he collected a good win at Southwell and he just looks to be the most reliable for this bunch.

He has managed to stay in some decent form since that February score. He was last seen 18 days ago at Catterick where he claimed a fourth place finish on a 7f trip.

So Equidae comes down in trip back to sprinting and also working out for him has been a drop of 3lb in the ratings.

That could all combine to give him a solid change of getting back to winning ways.

There should be a strong effort from DREAM TOGETHER as well after a win at Thirsk on his penultimate run.

She bolted up for by for a 9-length win at Bath a week ago. Even with a 6lb penalty she is well in for this fixture and things could just swing her way.
