Today’s Horse Racing Tip

It’s only a small field, but it is a cracking line up. JOHN LEEPER heads up the market, despite being well held in the Derby on his latest run. He missed the chance of completing a hattrick in that one.

But there is a slight preference on EUCHEN GLEN as a horse racing tip at 13/8* (betting odds recorded 23:37 GMT on July 1st 2021 at Bet365).

That is because he delivered a course and distance win in May, which checks a big box for us.

He was under a penalty on his follow up in the Wolferton at Royal Ascot and gave a good account of himself.

It was a fifth-place finish in that Group 3 contest for Euchen Glen, the ground not totally in his favour on the day. He’ll produce a bold bid here on Friday.

Today’s Horse Racing Tip

We have to roll with the current horse racing favourite JAWWAAL at 5/2 for this Doncaster trip* (betting odds recorded 23:37 GMT on July 1st 2021 at Bet365).

There was a score over course and distance for him last month and the form in that one was franked when the beaten Caspian Prince went on to land a subsequent victory.

It is just a 2lb rise that Jawwaal deals with for this one and that’s not likely going to be enough to slow him up too much. He had plenty in hand on that latest score and can progress further.

NOMADIC EMPIRE is a threat in this one after a good second-place finish at York on his latest run, which was seven weeks ago. He showed further development in that one.

The final selection for the shortlist is MUKER who has been going along steadily this season.

He hasn’t quite gotten back to the form he showed on his reappearance, but place claims are there with the blinkers on for the first time.

This is a good 2-mile contest and the field has been trimmed by Morando having been declared a non-runner.

MIDLEBERGER certainly looks to have solid claims here from a quote of 2/1* (betting odds recorded 23:37 GMT on July 1st 2021 at Bet365).

He opened the season with a victory at Wolverhampton and has produced a couple of good subsequent efforts in Saudi Arabia and then at Newcastle in the Northumberland Plate.

That latest effort was just six days ago, perhaps the only question about his chances here. Each of the other runs have good claims.

The son of Frankel has been going very well in defeat this season.

Today’s Horse Racing Tip

This is a good little look at the juveniles at Sandown on Friday for horse racing. We are going with MOJOMAKER at 13/2* (betting odds recorded 23:37 GMT on July 1st 2021 at Bet365).

On his third run, he appeared over course and distance three weeks ago. It was a stroll in the park for him collecting a win.

While the win was easy, the time was good, which suggests that he has a lot to offer as he comes back looking for a double. There’s nothing complicated about Mojomaker and we liked that.

The principal threats in the field are INSTINCTIVE MOVE who looked good on his debut with a 5f victory at Bath last month. There was a very good finish from him on that occasion.

KABOO is likely to be in the thick of things as well as he was sent straight to Royal Ascot for his debut, where he was well backed in the market.

It was a promising run from him to take sixth place in the Windsor Castle Stakes. Kaboo is highly regarded and has a big chance.

This looks like being a good wide-open contest. We are going with the 2/1 favourite CLASSIC LORD* (betting odds recorded 23:37 GMT on July 1st 2021 at Bet365).

He is carrying some good form having won at Haydock in May, his penultimate fixture. He really took a big step forward in that one.

Classic Lord was not far away from following up with a score at Chester on his next run. It was a defeat by a margin of a neck only.

He’s looking like a very good threat on a longer trip and is up only 1lb.

GENERAL ZOFF should have another good run in his after winning over course and distance last month. So he’s back on the radar.

He won a duel with DANCE TO PARIS on that occasion, so we have to take the latter back into consideration for the shortlist.

The final racing tip of the day is going to be NOORBAN. In May she picked up a victory at Ayr and then followed up with back-to-back second-place finishes.

It has been strong efforts all around from her and luck wasn’t on her side at York on her latest effort.

TENAYA CANYON still rates a big danger after getting a victory on the board at Haydock recently. There’s been a bit of a harsh 7lb extra thrown at her, however.

MID WINSTER is not out of the reckoning for this Doncaster trip either as she has shown nice consistency. She was last seen claiming a place finish at Ayr 10 days ago in a Listed fixture.
