Today’s horse racing tips look at some top action that is happening on Friday, particularly from Sandown where we gear up towards Saturday’s Tingle Creek.

Friday’s top fixture is the Ballymore Winter Novices’ Hurdle (Grade 2) from Sandown,

It’s six picks that we have and along with selections from Sandown, it is Exeter that is also in focus.

So here are the best of today’s horse racing tips for Friday, 3rd December 2021.

All times listed are GMT.

We kick things off with a good competitive novices’ chase which could be wide open. ADRIMEL should have a shout on his reappearance.

He pulled up on his final two runs of last season, but those were Grade 1 contests at Cheltenham and Aintree, so connections were pushing him on.

One of Adrimel’s wins over the hurdles was a Grade 2 at Warick earlier this year.

BOOTHILL is probably going to be a big player as well. He was third at Ascot on his return as he stepped into handicap action.

He looked to be in good shape there and looked built for a good campaign in chasing.

CHAMPAGNESUPEROVER make his chasing debut on his last run. That was just over three weeks ago on his reappearance.

That wasn’t an ideal trip for him at all, but it got some air in his lungs. He’s not without a shout.

Nor is ELIXIR DE NUTZ who has shown up as a smart hurdler.

He has not been at his best in the last year or so, but took a reasonable fourth-place finish two weeks ago on his reappearance.

Tip: ADRIMEL 2/1

Ones to watch: Boothill 11/10, Champagne Super Over 7/1

L’HOMME PRESSE makes his reappearance run and he has gone well from fresh before. Back in April, he delivered a win after a long break on what was his British debut.

He followed that up with a sixth-place finish at Sandown in a handicap.

L’homme Presse makes the switch over to the fences for this one and the lightly raced charge should have a chance.

GUNSIGHT RIDGE looks to be in good shape based on a strong chasing debut at Aintree.

That was a month ago and it looks as if he can kick on in this sphere.

Last season Gunsight Ridge put together a good campaign over the hurdles and the extra trip on offer could help him out greatly.

LONGSHANKS is another to consider for the shortlist. He finished off last season in style with a good victory in a Wincanton novices’ hurdle.

He made solid progress on his reappearance a month ago when he made his chasing debut at Stratford. There should be plenty more to come from Longshanks.

Tip: LONGSHANKS 5/1

Ones to watch: Gunsight Ridge 11/4, L’homme Presse 3/1

There’s a big chase here to look for horse racing betting and YOUNG OFFENDER could be one of the key competitors.

He certainly looks as if the long trip on offer will suit him nicely.

Young Offender took a huge step forward when he pulled out a win on his chasing debut 38 days ago at Chepstow.

He immediately looked better in that than anything he’d done over the hurdles. As Young Offender powered clear at Chepstow, he’s one to watch for this contest.

STORM FORCE BEN should find more over this longer trip. He was a runner up to Normandy Soldier three weeks ago on his chasing debut.

That was also the reappearance run for Storm Force Ben, who faces that rival once more.

NORMANDY SOLDIER then did have the better of Storm Force Ben at here at Exeter recently for his chasing debut.

He doesn’t naturally look as if the longer trip is going to suit him as much as it will others in this field as he moves up from 3m.

POPPA POUTINE showed up well to take a fourth-place finish at Exeter on his chasing debut a month ago.

He kicked on over the hurdles last season and with a decent start under his belt in this sphere, there may be claims.

Another one to consider in his big field is DANCING SHADOW who has a couple of credible runs since reappearing this season.

While he hasn’t won since 2017, Dancing Shadow has been in the frame the last twice and is one of the better-proven stayers in this field.

Tip: POPPA POUTINE 9/1

Ones to watch: Storm FOrce Ben 9/1, Young Offender 6/1

This is the big race of the day, the Winter Novices’ Hurdle from Sandown. There is a clear market favourite in horse racing, which is BRAVE KINGDOM.

He looks to be the one to beat in this Grade 2, having landed an impressive victory at Chepstow on his appearance run a month ago.

That was the debut over the hurdles for Brave Kingdom and it built on his bumper win at the end of the previous campaign.

Brave Kingdom’s from a top yard and has a big chance.

FAIR FRONTIERES won a Worcester maiden on his reappearance 44 days ago.

He comfortably made all in that one for his new yard. He looks like a fair prospect in this sphere.

VIVA LA VILLA looks a good one and very interesting as well on his third racetrack appearance.

He took a Lingfield hurdle on his first go over the timbers two weeks ago. He looks to have potential.

LOSSIEMOUTH is more experienced than anyone in this field and has taken back to back wins at Ascot and Ffos Las in handicaps this season.

He comes up in grade but is well worth a try at this level.

HARPER’S BROOK completes the field and is no forlorn hope either. The form from his win a month ago at Carlisle on his hurdles debut has been franked, so there could be a decent challenge to come from him.

Tip FAIR FRONTIERES 7/2

Ones to watch: Brave Kingdom 10/11, Harper’s Brook 10/1

DESQUE DE L’ISLE picked up a victory at Ffos Las in October in fine style on what was his reappearance.

While he is lightly raced over the fences, he has produced some good form in what he has done.

The form from that Ffos Las win has been franked so Desque De L’isle should be heavily involved.

ONE TRUE KING was a runner up in a Ffos Las handicap a month ago. He gets the cheekpieces on for the first time on Friday.

That was a notable improvement from One True King on his switch to the fences for the first time, so he could have more to offer.

OUT ON THE TEAR should be well in this having had a decent reappearance run under his belt.

He was in excellent shape over the fences last season and collected a win at Catterick in a good campaign.

Out On The Tear should be involved and FAIRWAY FREDDY may not be too far away either.

It’s been back to back place finishes for him this season, and he looks to get fully up to speed again. Fairway Freddy was a three-time winner in the previous campaign.

Tip: OUT ON THE TEAR 5/1

Ones to watch: Fairway Freddy 10/1, One True King 5/1

CHAMPAGNE WELL claimed a win at Plumpton last month, really pushing his form forward in that one.

That followed a poor reappearance.

So if Champagne Well can produce anything like that last performance, he should be back in the frame. This is is the handicap chase debut for him.

BOTHWELL BRIDGE is hard to ignore, however, as he was sent to a Grade 1 race at Aintree over the hurdles in April.

Connections clearly think highly of him, even though he was pulled up in that contest.

It’s been two wins from four previous hurdles efforts from Bothwell Bridge who is as big of a player as any in this field.

MAHLER’S PROMISE is the other shortlist contender for this one as he is thriving at the moment.

He is a bit more of a threat in this sphere than over the hurdles.

On his penultimate run, Mahler’s Promise claimed a victory at Newton Abbot in the summer.

He wasn’t disgraced on a follow up either, taking second place over course and distance. He looks likely to be involved.

Tip: MAHLER’S PROMISE 9/2

Ones to watch: Bothwell Bridge 7/2, Champagne Well 4/1
