Today’s horse racing tips feature some action from a superb day of racing as we get to look at a stack of Group fixtures.

Among them is the Persian War at Chepstow and the Group 1 Fillies’ Mile from Newmarket.

Race Preview

PASO DOBLE scored at Kempton on his second attempt at the hurdles and it was an impressive run as well.

That victory came after a third-place finish on his debut in the Grade 2 Adonis back in February. With an age allowance, Paso Doble looks like a threat in the field.

So too does FIRST STREET who is in the same boat with the allowance. He has been the favourite in all four starts and has delivered the odds in his last two.

That’s two over the hurdles, two wins for the Nicky Henderson gelding. First Street perhaps hasn’t looked quite the potentially excellent jumper that Paso Doble could prove to be, but there are big claims.

COEUR SEREIN defied a massive 12lb rise to claim a win at Huntingdon on his latest. That completed a hattrick for him.

So that was some effort from him and he has just kicked on with some massive strides for Jonjo O’Neill lately. This is a shorter trip for Coeur Serein but he’s a massive player.

Race Preview

INSPIRAL could be the one to beat at Newmarket over the mile on Friday. She has won all three starts and looks like a class act.

The daughter of Frankel, Inspiral was last seen completing the hattrick in the Group 2 May Hill at Doncaster a month ago.

It was a quality finish, just pulling away at the end of the race to dominate. Inspiral took the win by 4l lengths over Prosperous Village, who reopposes.

MAGICAL LAGOON looked good in scoring at the Curragh at this 1m distance last time out. That was in a Group 3 so does come up in grade.

This will be just the third racetrack appearance, but it will be interesting to see if she can push forward as she looks to have potential.

WILD BEAUTY is a good one with a few more runs under her belt than most of the field. She has won three times this season and the latest of those was a Group 1.

Wild Beauty was heavily beaten by Insprial at Sandown this season, but since then, she has progressed sharply. This will be a test of how much.

Another one that warrants a look for the shortlist in horse racing betting is MAJESTIC GLORY who landed the Sweet Solera at Newmarket earlier this season.

That’s two wins in her last three. She struggled a little here in the Rockfel in her latest as the favourite but could bounce back.

This is a very competitive renewal with claims running deep through this Group 2 affair on Friday.

The first horse racing tip for the shortlist is going to be CHINDIT who is the current market favourite.

He has been knocking around Group 1 fixtures this season and has remained competitive.

He ran into heavy traffic at the Celebration Mile on his latest, but this is calmer water for him to launch a bold bid in.

D’BAI looks a very good fit to make his presence felt in his one. He was second in a Listed run at Newbury last time out, having Al Suhail behind him.

He has continued to be competitive but is still looking for his first win since scoring at Meydan four races ago. D’Bai remains a threat coming from the top yard.

D’Bai’s stablemate AL SUHAIL should be in the picture given the form. He claimed a win in a small field on his penultimate run.

But that form was matched when he claimed a third-place finish at Beverley in a Listed fixture. He brings bold claims while WITH THANKS has been heading in the right direction as well.

There was a Listed success for her at Ascot 6 days ago. As long as this one doesn’t come too soon, With Thanks has the current form to get her nose in it.

This should be a good battle. PEARL GLORY could thrive on making the step up to this 7f trip on Friday.

She was second in a Group 3 fixture last time out, missing out on a hattrick chance. But there’s been excellent form and she looks like she needs the extra trip.

GOOD AMERICAN won her debut, as she just dominated at Salisbury. The American Pharoah filly looks like a tough competitor.

This is a tougher assignment than her debut but should be helped with Frankie Dettori booked to guide her.

ALLAYAALI looks as if she has a lot more to come after a good start to her young career. It’s been two wins in three for her.

One of those was on her debut at Doncaster and then on her latest, she was back there scoring in a nursery.

Allayaali could be chanced coming into this level as she looks ready for it.

HIERARCHY warrants some respect on a drop back to a 5f trip. He has knocked around in Group company the last twice and has acquitted himself well.

Hierarchy wasn’t that far away in the Mill Reef at Newbury on his latest and should be able to make his presence felt with Oisin Murphy booked.

TWILIGHT JET should have plenty of appeal in horse racing betting on Friday. He is also moving back to the 5f trip after a go at the Middle Park on his latest.

That effort here saw him take a good fifth-place finish two weeks ago. Coming down then in both grade and in a trip, Twilight Jet rates a big danger.

GUILDED is coming down on both trip and grade as well. So he warrants respect for place claims. Two weeks ago she was fourth in the Cheveley Park.

That run followed a win for Guilded at Beverley, getting off the mark by landing the odds. She’s no forlorn hope.

This will probably be wide open, but a preference is to push towards a three-year-old. The last three winners have been that age.

With that in mind, We look at SWEET BELIEVER who put in a good effort at Yarmouth on her latest. It was a third-place finish for her behind Ville De Grace.

There have been three wins by Sweet Believer in her last five runs and the Willie Haggas filly makes for an interesting player in this one.

There should be further progress made by VILLE DE GRACE after that victory at Yarmouth three weeks ago.

That Listed victory saw her improve yet again and it was a three-length victory that she took over Freyja. So Ville De Grace has already seen off some of these rivals.

The step-up in trip may prove to have dividends for Sir Michael Stoute’s LIGHTS ON who doesn’t look to have unlocked all of her potential yet.

She is a 4-year-old, but this extra distance looks key for her.

She scored in a Listed field at Pontefract in July and while a Group 3 Ascot effort didn’t suit her last time out, Lights On battled for a credible second.
