HARRY’S BAR is the current 4/1 favourite for this sprint* (betting odds recorded 20:04 GMT on April 1st, 2021 at William Hill).

He has won a few on the all-weather before. On his reappearance, he finished a hat-trick with a score at 6f at Dundalk in February.

Harry’s Bar failed to follow up with a win in two runs to follow. But there were also excuses for him in both of those.

Harry’s Bar has course and distance form and will likely thrive coming back down to the 6f trip, even though he gets a wide draw.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

SUMMERGHAND should be another of the strong players in this one. He was fourth at the Cambridge Trophy last weekend at Doncaster.

He didn’t get a clear run to the finish in that one, but he was looking in good heart.

Before that, he had gone close at Wolverhampton twice and gets the visor on for this one.

VENTUROUS is the other that we are going for on the shortlist. He has won two of three efforts this season and looks to have found a new lease of life.

It has been a really strong winter for him. The latest run he had was a month ago at Wolverhampton and he put in a strong finish to score in that.

For this small field, it is MAGELLAN who is the current 8/13 odds-on favourite* (betting odds recorded 20:04 GMT on April 1st, 2021 at William Hill).

He posted a second palace finish on his reappearance run, which was a Listed fixture at Lingfield a month ago. He missed out by a short head in that one.

This trip should be more in his wheelhouse however and he sets the standard in this one.

Magellan was fourth in the Autumn Stakes at Newmarket last year as well and there’s plenty more to come.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

FINAL VOYAGE has been making nice progress in handicapping over the winter and completed a hattrick at Wolverhampton.

It’s been four wins in a row from him now and his latest was a career-best five weeks ago. He looks as if he can mount a threat.

LEGION OF HONOUR scored here at Newcastle in November as a juvenile.

This is his first go as a three-year-old and he looks as if he has a good turn of speed in him.

Further improvement is firmly expected from him.

Legion Of Honour looks the biggest threat to the favourite at 15/8* (betting odds recorded 20:04 GMT on April 1st, 2021 at William Hill).

GHOST RIDER scored a win in a minor ever here 38 days ago. It was an easy victory as well having had plenty in hand.

That’s back to back wins from him and is an interesting player in this fascinating contest.

It has been stunning form from him, having won six of his last seven runs under handicapping and he was runner up in the other one in that sequence.

He is under a 5lb penalty for this contest and more bold progress is likely to come from him. He was last in action on Tuesday when he breezed it.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

SHELIR can’t be counted out of this one either as he makes his reappearance run.

He was good in the autumn on the turf and it’ll be interesting to see how he performs on the Polytrack for the first time.

Shelir got off the mark in September for this yard.

PAPA STOUR is rapidly improving and he is a former course and distance winner as well.

He was last in action just over a month ago when he 5th of 11 at Newcastle in a handicap contest.

Papa Stour lowers his sights a little bit in this one which should give him a chance.

He scored twice at Newmarket last year and on the hunt for a hattrick, produced a career-best to earn a runner up spot at Goodwood.

Zabeel Champion was then sixth on his final run of last season, but the extra trip at 11f wasn’t quite in his stamina range.

He may be worth watching in the market as he returns for the first time since August.

HABIT ROUGE looks like being a big threat in this contest and he looked good on a step up to this distance on a C&D effort last month.

He finished ahead of United Front in that effort in claiming the score. That was just over two weeks ago and looked very good for it.

UNITED FRONT has been strong and consistent all season and that will likely continue here.

He got his latest win at Newcastle back in February over a 1m trip.

BANGKOK is the even-money favourite for this stakes action at Lingfield* (betting odds recorded 20:04 GMT on April 1st, 2021 at William Hill).

He is a previous course and winner, scoring the latest victory here in February. Following that he was sent to the Saudi Cup and never found his form on the day.

That was no total disgrace in a strong race and there were excuses there on the day as well for him.

But he is arguably the class act of this field and a strong return is expected.

Without question, the biggest threat to Bangkok in this field is FOREST OF DEAN.

He arrives on the back of some brilliant form when he stormed the field to score the Winter Derby win over course and distance a month ago.

Forest Of Dean got that by three-quarters of a length over Felix, a form which has been franked. He should go close.

ASSIMILATION is another of the course and distance winners in this field.

He has won two of his last three, the latest in a 7-runner handicap at Kempton a month ago.

So he is heading in the right direction and could find himself in the thick of things with further progress.

This is a good-looking competitive mile contest and KHUZAAM is the current 7/4 favourite* (betting odds recorded 20:04 GMT on April 1st, 2021 at William Hill).

He picked up a win a month ago on his latest effort, which was also a conditions stakes at Chelmsford City. So the low mileage 5 year old should have a good say in this.

He comes back up a furlong to take on the mile. Before getting that win at Chelmsford City it had been three straight runners up finishes in Listed efforts for him.

SILVER QUARTZ is interesting as he has gotten Hollie Doyle booked.

He is looking for a hat-trick as well after taking back to back wins in French minor contests.

The tongue strap goes back on. While this is looking like a tougher contest than anything he’s faced this season, Silver Quartz piques some interest.

MUMS TIPPLE could be the way to go however after taking a very good win on his last run.

That was a 7f Listed effort at Wolverhampton three weeks ago. Mums Tipple got the score by more than two lengths as well.

There’s a slight question mark over his stamina, but he brings very strong claims.
