Today’s horse racing tips for Friday are from Doncaster and Cheltenham as we gear up to a big weekend.
The headline race of Friday’s action is the Grade 3 Betfair Handicap Chase from Cheltenham.
That should be hotly contested. Along with one from that fixture, there are five other picks that we have made for horse racing today.

A big player in this Grade 3 contest on Friday from Cheltenham should be Enrilo.
He made his seasonal reappearance with a run in the Ladbrokes Trophy.
He didn’t complete that one but he was shaping pretty well in the contest.
With so much promise shown in novice company last season, Enrilo may well bounce back.
Enrilo did get past the post first in the bet365 Gold Cup at Sandown before being demoted. He rates a threat.
MISTER FOGPATCHES should have something to offer as he has put in some decent efforts this season.
He looks to still be heading in the right direction.
There was a third-place finish for Mister Fogpatches three weeks ago.
His jumping ability may be a little question mark over him, but he can get involved.
SANTINI could be an interesting one to watch as he goes for a new yard on Friday. This will be his handicap debut and he looks to have been fairly treated.
COMMODORE put together a good run in last year’s edition of the Betfair Handicap Chase and could go well again.
He brings good form from fresh, taking a runner up on last season’s reappearance at Haydock.
Place claims could be there and Commodore has had a wind op during his long break.

SPORTING JOHN will naturally take a lot of backing in horse racing at Cheltenham on Friday.
He has such a strong, proven performance over the hurdles and stood up very well earlier this year to land the Scilly Isles Chase as well.
Sporting John made his reappearance a month ago, taking on handicapping for the first time in a run here at Cheltenham.
There could well be more to come from him and this is proven on this trip.
BOTOX HAS has plenty of ability to get himself involved in this one, despite his efforts this season not having gone to plan.
He was a faller on his reappearance, which was also his chasing debut.
His follow up wasn’t brilliant and now connections turn to the cheekpieces for the first time.
This is the first time attempting this trip for Botox Has.
KANSAS CITY CHIEF has done well this season. There’s life left in the veteran after having opened the season with a win in the Jersey.
He followed that up with a good effort over course and distance in October on his latest run
. That was a third-place finish and there’s solid enough place claims to come from him again.
Another to keep an eye on is ONAGATHERGINSTORM who has proven to be a very consistent sort.
There was a win in a novice race for him in the spring.
Last month he did go up against Sporting John, finishing second behind that rival in a course and distance hurdle.
Onagatheringstorm doesn’t look too likely to turn the tables on that rival but could have a strong run at the places again.

It is a big field here for this gruelling test around Prestbury Park. SINGING BANJO has been in fine fettle for a while now.
There were a couple of cross country successes for him during the summer and after a break, was runner up at course and distance a month ago.
Singing Banjo has been moved up 2lb but could well feature strongly.
PLAN OF ATTACK went well over course and distance last time as well, and the returns on an unchanged mark.
That latest run was a handicap chase a month ago. Plan Of Attack is entitled to be even sharper for that effort.
MIDNIGHT MAESTRO was second after a break of seven months at Punchestown last month.
He is pushed into a longer trip on Friday and can’t be taken lightly.
That was a very encouraging cross country derby from him at Punchestown.
BACK ON THE LASH should be able to make his presence felt after winning a course and distance effort against some of these 28 days ago.
It’s four wins from six for Back On The Lash this season.
He did only just hold on to get that handicap chase win over C&D. Back On The Lash has been nudged up 3lb place claims are there.

This could be quite a warm contest with some big players going to head. There are certainly some fair claims around here.
TIMELESS BEAUTY is one of the potentially key players in this one.
She delivered a win at Lingfield 24 days ago on her handicap chase debut.
That was the first run of the seasons for Timeless Beauty as well. There easily has to be more to come from the Irish pointer winner.
FONTAINE COLLONGES is a big one, and she looks in top nick at the moment.
Three weeks ago she stayed on brilliantly to score over the fences at Warwick.
Fontaine Collonges has been a very good one for her yard and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see her go close once again.
PRECIOUS ELEANOR is wonderfully consistent and has taken back to back runner-up finishes on her return.
She was beaten by Fontaine Collonges at Warwick recently but may have a chance at turning the table on that rival.
Precious Eleanor is 4lb better off against her this time around.
ROSE OF ARCADIA is another that cannot be written off for this one. She looks built for a decent chasing campaign.
There was a third from her on her reappearance a month ago at Wincanton.
There was a lot to enjoy about that run and Rose Of Arcadia is no forlorn hope as she will probably come forward.

THE MIGHTY ARC may be tough to beat in this contest. He is the market leader in horse racing betting.
The Mighty Arc jumped up 8lb after picking up a win at Worcester last month.
That was both his chasing and handicap debut.
He applied himself brilliantly there, so much so that it’s hard not to imagine big further improvement.
GET YOUR OWN was third at Lingfield last month on a slightly longer trip.
It was a solid chasing effort though and the drop in trip may well help his cause.
Get Your Own stays at the same mark giving him a good chance to get himself heavily involved on Friday.
DR SANDERSON moves up 5lb from a win at Ayr just over a couple of weeks ago.
That was on a 2m trip so he is pushed up in distance considerably.
He looked to have made the most of a falling mark to get that score. Now it’s going to be about how he handles going up the ratings again.
JAVA POINT looked out of sorts on an unsuitable 2m trip last month.
That was his chase debut and nothing about the run was right for him.
There was a good campaign over the hurdles last season by Java Point and the extra trip here could well help him get into the swing of things in this sphere.

There is a cracking field taking on this handicap hurdle at Doncaster on Friday afternoon.
GOOBINATOR is one of those who should get heavily involved. He was a faller at Bangor on his latest, going down three from home.
Back in the summer he landed a couple of good handicap wins on the flat and was very competitive in the Cesarewitch.
A clear round and he is probably in it, as Goobinator looks for his fourth straight win.
COBBLERS DREAM has a little more experience in this sphere than most.
He went very well at Wetherby last month, finding only too good on the day.
He’s relatively low mileage still and on what will be his handicap debut, is likely to be right out there.
COURTANDBOULD put in a good effort in a course and distance handicap over the hurdles on his latest run.
That was two weeks ago and is a multiple hurdles winner. He has a fair chance of getting in the frame.
Another that arrives in good heart at the moment is LEONCAVALLO who was just a little too eager in a Class 2 Ascot handicap last time out.
That run, three weeks ago, wasn’t quite timed right and he ran out of steam. But the drop in class has to give him a good chance on Friday.
