This is a super competitive-looking fixture at Lingfield on Monday afternoon. There are just joint favourites in the market.

We are just going to go with HEY HO LET’S GO to take this wide-open contest. He recently missed out on a hattrick chance.

But Hey Ho Let’s Go is a former course and distance winner, getting the latest score here back in March.

Phillip Hobbs’ 7 year old has been producing some consistent form recently which puts him in the frame.

He returned from half a year away from action to take a good second at Taunton a month ago. That was a very encouraging run.

Umndeni comes up 2lb now, but he is on a good mark from which to launch another bold bid. He is entitled to come on even more after that reappearance.

Lurking among the list of dangers are SPECTATOR and IMPERIAL KNIGHT, the latter entering on the back of a win at Warwick.

On his penultimate run he readily scored on a 7 trip at Wolverhampton

He tanked in some really heavy ground on a follow up in a nursery effort at Newmarket. That’s easily forgivable however.
