Today’s horse racing tips dig into some of the action that is around on the eve of the Royal Ascot Festival.
Monday’s picks are all from the flat as we target some selections from Lingfield, Carlisle and Windsor.

CAIRN GORM was third at Ascot in his latest run, which was back in October last year.
So he does have to shrug off an 8-month absence, but he is no forlorn hope.
The tongue strap goes on for the first time.
Cairn Gorm will also arrive on his first run for a new yard and should stick to the task well enough as he has a good attitude.
ASAD picked up a win on his return to action this season, landing the spoils at Chelmsford in April.
He was in a similar kind of form when he was a runner-up at Haydock three weeks ago.
He’s taking to the turf well enough to give him a reasonable chance here.
KIT GABRIEL put in a credible reappearance run when taking fifth in a big field at an Ascot.
He should be that much sharper for this one and should be the way to go.
He got off the mark as a juvenile and brings potential against some elders.

GREY FOX looks like being a credible contender in this one as he is a former course and distance winner.
The tongue strap goes on for the first time and is going for a top yard.
There have been two previous scores by him at this venue.
Grey Fox shaped up well on his latest run at Sandown three weeks ago to make an impact.
DARVEL has been in excellent form the last twice so he warrants some nice respect.
There was a first victory taken by him for his new yard on his penultimate run, which was at Chepstow.
Darvel then went close in a handicap at Brighton 17 days ago, so is likely to make his presence felt.
INVINCIBLY put in a much better shift last time when taking a fourth-place finish at Newcastle.
He looks as if he has needed time to warm up to things this season.
Invincible is 1lb above his last winning mark only and warrants some consideration.

BELLE OF ANNANDALE has been heading in the right direction with each subsequent run this season.
Belle Of Annandale still looks a little green around the edges, but with ability.
She was a runner-up as the odds-on favourite last time out and claims are there.
EIGHT OF DIAMONDS has been in strong consistent form for a while now and took a third place finish at Salisbury two weeks ago.
It’s one win from four runs this year, that score coming at Lingfield in April.
He’s just humming along nicely and should make his presence felt.
RED ASTAIRE was a good third-place finisher on his latest run and looks to have potential.
That was in a maiden at Redcar. The handicapper hasn’t been too lenient to Red Astaire on his debut, but he’s no forlorn hope.

LATE NIGHT MISTAKE is lightly raced on and could pose a threat as she takes a drop in distance for this fillies contest.
There was a victory taken by her at Newcastle in February.
She was tried at an extended mile last time out and that was too much for her.
This may well be more within range for Late Night Mistakes on Monday.
BUNGLEY was a runner-up at Beverly in quite a competitive handicap on her latest run two weeks ago.
More is expected of her now having gotten that return under her belt. She got off the board last season and is a threat.
ALETHIOMETER is not without a chance as she is an excellent consistent runner, barely ever putting a foot wrong
It has been back-to-back third-place finishes for her recently and she is match fit from a run at Doncaster two weeks ago.
COAXING picked up a score at Catterick on her latest run, which was sixteen days ago in a maiden.
That should put her in the mix as long as she has firmly left behind her juvenile form which wasn’t spectacular.

AOENINAN could well shape up to be the one to beat in this contest.
There was a winning start made on his debut last summer at 7f.
On his reappearance run for a top yard, he was a good third-place finish at Haydock on a 1m novice trip.
There’s plenty to build on as Aeonian comes up further in distance.
SARVAN may enjoy himself back at Lingfield, as it is a venue where he usually goes well.
He has banked a couple of course and distance wins already this year. He had a poor misfire on the turf last time out, but Sarvan should be better here.
BIG MEETING claimed a win at Chelmsford in a novice 25 days ago and took that win comfortably.
He comes up in the trip for this one and should be fine for it. He’s lightly raced and steps into handicapping for the first time with a big chance.

DALBY FOREST has the consistency in his game to make his presence felt on Monday at Lingfield.
He was third at this venue a couple of weeks ago on what was his handicap and turf debut. He should build on that.
THISMYDREAM steps into handicapping for the first time and warrants some respect.
He went a long way at Bath three weeks ago on his latest. That was a very encouraging run in a maiden and should bring another bold run.
