Heading up the market in this one is ALRIGHT SUNSHINE at 4/6* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 17:37 GMT on Sunday, 20th November 2020).

This will be the season-opener for Alright Sunshine but he is still sitting on a hattrick.

This will be his first go over the hurdles here, but given his tremendous form in the bumpers and on the flat he looks a pretty strong option to get things together.

He was in great, sharp form over the flat in the summer competing in some pretty hot handicaps. Alright Sunshine should be a big player.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

MOON KING should also be a big player in the fixture. He has plenty of staying power showing what he has produced on the flat.

Moon King has had a go over the hurdles before, taking a third place at Market Rasen on his debut. That should have sharpened up in this sphere.

LA MYSTERE looks to be the other obvious one to throw on the shortlist.

That is because he rattled the crossbar on his hurdles debut at Newcastle last month.

That was a fairly weak maiden however, but it’s the fact that he did seem to take well to the discipline which piques the most interest here.

DEFINITE WISDOM is the current 2/1 favourite for this handicap chase* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 17:37 GMT on Sunday, 20th November 2020).

There was a win for Definite Widsom on his last run, which was a couple of weeks ago.

With the headgear on for the first time he impressed over course and distance. That was the second C&D score from him.

Given that he was more than comfortable at the close of that latest win here, Definite Wisdom has some big claims.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

PAKIE’S DREAM looks like another of the big threats in this field. He won here recently off of a 5lb lower mark.

He then went out at Market Rasen over a 3m trip bet he felt that as the 6/4 FAV. That aside, Pakie’s Dream is in big form.

If Definite Wisdom struggles with his 5lb rise then Pakie’s Dream should be right there ready to pounce at 9/2* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 17:37 GMT on Sunday, 20th November 2020).

Rounding out the shortlist for this interesting fixture is IZZY’S CHAMPION who collected a win at Musselburgh back in January.

He was back out over the fences at course and distance four weeks ago, but finished last of six on an off day.

Izzy’s Champion retains some interest though for his previous win over the fences here. Place claims look viable.

Heading up the market currently for this trip is GIUSEPPE CASSIOLI at 7/2* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 17:37 GMT on Sunday, 20th November 2020).

There has been some wonderfully consistent form from him this season.

That includes a course and distance success back in October. So there are big claims because of that.

Guiseppe Cassioli was last seen a week ago in a Kimpton handicap. He took a third place finish there after struggling with position.

Given that he has been in the frame in all but one of his last six runs, with Ryan Moore in the saddle, Giuseppe Cassioli has good appeal.

But it is FREEDOM AND WHEAT who looks to be the one to go with in this fixture. He will be looking to secure a hattrick on Monday.

He arrived in top form and secured a double when he delivered at Kempton a week ago.

There is a 5lb penalty for him to but he is absolutely flying at the moment and Freedom and Wheat has to be the pick at 4/1* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 17:37 GMT on Sunday, 20th November 2020).

We have to throw BUCKINGHAM on the list as well. But he shaped up well 12 days ago at course and distance.

It has been a long time since he scored a win, not having managed to land one since last year.

But he looks to be at a reasonable mark and has a 5lb claimer to boot. There should be enough there to see Buckingham get in the mix.

This will be the handicap bow for Ottonian who was a useful winner on the flat.

There have been a few decent efforts from him over the hurdles this season, having had three cracks at it.

Ottonian has been in the places in his last two in this sphere and the six year old looks to be getting better over them. He should be the one to beat.

WAKOOL looks like another of the potential key players in this contest. He has a bit more experience in chasing under his belt.

He recorded a win over the fences in January at Doncaster. The last two efforts that he has put together have been ones that show plenty of promise in this sphere.

BARNAY is the final name for the shortlist with a decent effort last time out at Doncaster.

He claimed third place in this contest in a big field and over 2m 3f.

The one that was just ahead of him in second in the fixture has since gone on to win, so there are claims there as the blinkers are applied.

He finished last season on a high note, winning his last two over the hurdles. On his reappearance run this season he made his chasing debut and took second place.

With improvement to come from that sedgefield maiden effort, Overcourt naturally brings some good claims to proceedings. He looks as if he had a lot more to offer in this sphere.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

STAY HUMBLE is one who could be worth keeping on side for the run. He opened the season with a third place finish at Kelso.

That was six furlongs longer than this effort.

It has been a couple of years since Stay Humble picked up a win anywhere, but he gets the blinkers on for the first time and could have something to offer.

CHAMPAGNE NOIR is tried with cheek pieces for the first start. He picked up a win at Huntingdon on his chase debut in October.

He was then thrown up 7lb higher and has struggled a little bit to hit that mark since.

Champagne Noir takes a sizable drop in trip here however, which could help to pull him into the picture.

There was a fourth place finish for him on his latest run which was over course and distance.

That was 17 days ago and the best that he has produced in a while. So then he should come into the picture in this one.

But this field does look to be wide open and we think that the favourite is well worth taking on.

The top player her we think s GLOVES LYNCH who looks value at 9/2* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 17:37 GMT on Sunday, 20th November 2020).

That is because he has been off higher marks in his last two runs and has performed well.

Gloves Lynch hasn’t won since 2018 but he seems to be in decent shape at the moment.

The other is LOOK OUT LOUIS who picked up a win on his last run. That was in a course and distance handicap about three weeks ago.

It was a very comfortable win that he banked there and benefited from cheek pieces on for the first time.

He gets a 6lb rise for that win, which could be a lot for him to handle on the day.
