SCOTTISH ACCENT won this fixture last year and he is bang in form as he looks for a follow-up
There was a comfortable victory for him at Kelso last month for which he now comes up 4lb. With his yard in form, Scottish Accent could take some stopping.
UPTOWN HARRY is 2lb below his last winning mark and he could be on a threatening mark.
He was last seen a month ago collecting a third-place finish at Perth, a venue where he has won this season. This right-handed track will probably suit him better.
CRACK DU NINIAN is the other shortlisted contender in this one as he has made a good switch to chasing this season.
He won his first two efforts in this sphere, which were back in the Autumn.
It’s been three without a win since, but crack Du Ninian has remained in excellent form in defeat and can make his presence felt on the trip.

CELLAR VIE took his form forward last time out with a victory recorded at Ayr in a handicap hurdle.
That was with the cheekpieces on for the first time, so he seemed to react to them well.
There is a fair 4lb rise for him on the back of that, but he could be involved again.
FATHERS ADVICE steps into his handicap debut on Monday after picking up a fourth-place finish on his latest.
That was in a Wetherby novice hurdle 25 days ago. He just never got in a position to challenge, but ran with full credit and could kick on.
MONSIEUR POM POM fills out the shortlist for this fixture as he will have the blinkers for the first time.
It will be his handicap debut as well and has made an encouraging start to life over the hurdles having been in the frame in all three efforts so far.

BAVINGTON BOB has been going well as a novice chaser this season and kicked on with a strong finish to beat his rivals at Newcastle last month.
So that’s a very encouraging start to life in chasing by him.
He comes back at 8lb higher and seeking a hat trick so is likely to be a big player.
JUGE ET PARTI was a credible fourth-place finish at Ayr in December although it looked a little bit like the handicapper had caught up with him.
But Juge Et Parti has the tongue strap for the first time on Monday.
He is another that has done well over the fences this season, including back to back wins at Bangor and Perth.
GLITTERING LOVE may be worth a look in this contest as well despite a below-par effort at Wetherby last time out.
On his penultimate run, Glittering Love scored here at Carlisle.
So the return to the venue could see a little bit of a revival from him.

TEESCOMPONENTS LAD appears just to be on a tough mark which means that he is going to need to dig a little deeper.
But he has winning experience in this race, having claimed it in 2019.
His latest win was at Market Rasen in November and has put two credible runs together since.
WEST TO THE BRIDGE claimed a win at Chepstow on his latest effort which was 35 days ago.
He made the most of a low mark in that one, scoring cosily.
He looks to be very well treated still given his previous form and could be back in the thick of it.
THE CON MAN has to defy a long absence and is unexposed as a 9-year-old so piques some interest here.
He won a couple of handicap hurdles before going into this long break.
The Con Man has gone well fresh before and is therefore, worth watching in the market.

LINCOLN GAMBLE could benefit massively from a drop in trip on Monday because his recent pace has been quite good.
He did take a win at Wolverhampton in January before following up a couple of weeks ago at Kempton, not quite in the same kind of mood.
PURPLE POWER returns from a break of 165 days and will get his first run for a new yard as well.
The tongue strap is on for the first time and he looks to be entering the action on a very fair mark given his previous form.
WESTERN MUSIC has gone well the last twice and got off the mark on his latest run.
That was at Southwell 18 days ago when he delivered the goods when more was asked of him.
If he can back that up, then he should make his presence felt as well.

He was fourth at Southwell a month ago on his latest, the best of a handful that was held up.
Triggered warrants some respect in this one.
ATHOLLBLAIR BOY is another that can get himself involved if he puts his best foot forward on the day.
He is a four-time course and distance winner and was a credible fourth at C&D six days ago.
This is a wide-open field, so why not.
