Today’s Horse Racing Tip

We are going to the veteran option of MO HENRY at 5/1 as our horse racing tip in this one* (betting odds recorded 18:33 GMT on May 23rd 2021 at William Hill).

He put in a good effort five days ago at Ayr. He is looking to snap a long winless streak but he was knocking on the door there.

Mo Henry was never going to reel in the winner in that contest however. But he arrives in good shape and he is a previous course and distance winner as well.

With a 7lb conditional on his back as well it looks like it might just be the time to stick with him as he looks close to getting something on the board. That’s been three solid runs in a row from him.

Other principal threats in the field will be BLUE VENTURE and RAABEH who is up in the weights after a third place over course and distance recently.

Today’s Horse Racing Tip

SCHNABEL looks to be the one to beat in this contest as he is bang in form at the moment.

There is a quote of 2/1 on him to get the score* (betting odds recorded 18:33 GMT on May 23rd 2021 at William Hill).

He has now won each of the last four runs that he has completed. The most recent of those was 19 days ago at Fontwell.

There has been a rise of 3lb for him in the ratings, but he is going so very well at the moment that may not slow him up.

This isn’t the deepest of fields in terms of quality of opposition.

But JEN’S BOY looks to be the biggest threat after taking this in a handicap chase here at Ludlow a couple of weeks ago

There could be more to come from Nicky Henderson’s 7 year old, enough to get in the frame.

Today’s Horse Racing Tip

There are a couple in this field with big interests. TAKEIT EASY has to warrant respect after scoring over course and distance.

That recent win moves him up 3lb in the ratings, but he looks to have a tremendous engine in him so is a big player in this.

Even in defeat this season has produced some very good efforts at Cheltenham and Newbury.

The other big player should be Evan Williams’ BALLINSKER who is in much calmer waters for the first time in a while.

He has been sent to some really stiff contests recently, the latest of those being the Swinton, which was too much for him.

That was after he had tried the Greatwood and Betfair Hurdle. So his sights have been lowered a lot in this one and that makes the former course and distance winner a threat.

We don’t see much between the two of them, but we are just siding with TAKEIT EASY at 9/4* (betting odds recorded 18:33 GMT on May 23rd 2021 at William Hill). Just.

This looks like being an intriguing contest with the returning GLEGA GAL looking well in contention. She signed off last season with a course and distance success in a nursery.

But we are swinging a little bit longer in the market for the 7/1 shot GURKHA GIRL instead as our horse racing tip* (betting odds recorded 18:33 GMT on May 23rd 2021 at William Hill).

She has shown plenty of promise this season, including winning a minor event at Lingfield at the 7f distance.

Gurkha Girl stayed on well in that one to get the score. That was after a runner-up spot on her reappearance. So she could be building towards more.

This is a competitive field with SAMOOT looking like she is going places fast and she is a former course and distance winner.

SHE DO and ROSEMARY AND THYME come in with some solid claims as well.

We step up to the longer 2m trip next for our horse racing tips. This is such a tight market we have for this chase action at Ludlow as well.

It’s tough to split the front three, very tough. Of them however, we are just going to slide towards ARIZONA GLORY getting it together at 9/4* (betting odds recorded 18:33 GMT on May 23rd 2021 at William Hill).

He has been sliding down the ratings and the cheekpieces go on for the first as connections look for more.

Arizona Glory was last seen 18 days ago taking fifth place in a handicap chase at Worcester. He has been a reliable performer over the bigger stuff.

So there should be a good bold effort from him. Veteran GALSEUR DU GRANVAL boasts two course and distance wins, but isn’t the most reliable.

TOTALLY REJECTED switches to chasing after some patchy form over the hurdles, but isn’t without potential.

There’s a nice little sprint here and WARRIOR BRAVE is our racing tip at 3/1* (betting odds recorded 18:33 GMT on May 23rd 2021 at William Hill).

It has been two wins from three efforts for his yard and he looks to be on the up. Last time out Warrior Brave had the cheek pieces on for the first time at Goodwood and scored.

In that contest he had Nelson Gay behind him. Warrior Brave won’t want the conditions to get any softer, but as long as he handles the surface, he is a big player.

The returning NELSON GAY missed out on a hattrick because of Warrior Brave recently, but can’t be dismissed as that race at Goodwood could have come too soon for him.

HEY MR is another with a big chance as he stays at the same mark after a third place finish in a very strong York Handicap 10 days ago.

We think this is down to BAD COMPANY and MAFIA POWER. We are going with the former at 5/2 because he was really on the up last year* (betting odds recorded 18:33 GMT on May 23rd 2021 at William Hill).

He delivered a four-timer at the end of 2020 and he doesn’t look to have lost anything over the winter break either.

That is because on his reappearance Bad Company was at course and distance. He wasn’t very far away from the score in second place there. So that hinted there should be more and he stays at the same mark as well.

There is a lot to like about MAFIA POWER who was 4th at course and distance two weeks ago.

GOLD SOUK isn’t without a shout in this one either, nor SNOW OCEAN who arrives for a yard who are right in form.
