FONTANA ELLISSI collected a good win at Ffos Las on his penultimate run.

That was the first score for his new yard.

The follow-up run for Fontana Ellissi was also very good as he took a runner up spot at Taunton two weeks ago.

He’s likely to get himself involved once again.

JANTE LAW is also coming back into action after a long break of 310 days, but he signed off before the break, in excellent form.

Jante Law will return looking to secure a hat-trick chance.

If he can shrug off that sizable absence then he could have a chance.

CHTI BALKO also gets on the scoresheet because the handicapper has eased the grip on him a little back.

He banked a second-place finish on the latest run, which was three weeks ago at Uttoxeter.

It’s been steady form from him this season and may make his presence felt.

Tip: CHTI BALKO 4/1

Ones to watch: Fontana Ellissi 4/1, Jante Law 5/1

INDIAN BRAVE makes an interesting return as he has been away for a couple of years now.

He was bang in form at the end of 2020, winning a couple of handicap chase efforts at Chepstow and Newbury.

It’s worth watching the market to guide.

BUSTER VALENTINE has run well in defeat this season having been in the frame in all three efforts.

He was a runner up at Musselburgh two weeks ago and comes back into action on the same mark so has a big chance.

SEVEN NO TRUMPS opened the season with a victory for top trainer David Skelton.

That win was on his chasing debut in November.

His follow up wasn’t quite as hot with a third-place finish at Market Rasen ten weeks ago, however.

Tip: BUSTER VALENTINE 13/8

Ones to watch: Seven No Trumps 2/1, Indian Brave 15/2

MOTOWN LAKE could set the standard in this contest at Wetherby on Monday. That’s after a win last time out.

That victory was in a handicap chase at Uttoxeter three weeks ago.

There’s been a bump of 7lb for him as he looks to follow up.

A follow-up is not guaranteed looking at his overall form this season but place claims should be there.

THE VERY THING was a winner on his latest effort which was at Catterick 53 days ago.

He benefited from some headgear last time out and came good out of the blue to get that Catterick score.

The Very Thing may have a chance if he can find any kind of follow up effort.

THE LION DANCER looks capable as well after a credible second-place finish on his latest run.

That was a step back in the right direction for him three weeks ago.

The Lion Dancer stays at the same mark so could get involved.

Tip: THE LION DANCER 15/2

Ones to watch: Motown Lake 15/8, The Very Thing 6/1

FARMER’S GAMBLE looks like he could have a big chance on Monday after winning last time out.

That was a Wincanton novice success for Farmer’s Gamble last month.

He was dominant at the finish and there should be plenty more to come from him.

HAZARD COLLONGES took a place finish on his latest effort which was three weeks ago at Kempton.

That was a handicap debut for him, and there was plenty of encouragement to take from it.

There have been clear signs of improvement, and he is down in grade on Monday.

ABOVE SUSPICION hasn’t quite gotten his jumping from going over the fences this season.

He was third on his latest effort in January over the timbers. Better jumping form would probably get him in it.

Tip: HAZARD COLLONGES 7/1

Ones to watch: Farmer’s Gamble 11/4, Above Suspicion 14/1

PAY THE WOMAN failed to compete at Catterick on her latest effort which was over 3 months ago.

There was form by her last summer in claiming a couple of mares’ novice hurdles.

She makes the move back now to the hurdles after going in chases the last twice.

BEGIN THE LUCK put in an encouraging run a month ago at Uttoxeter on his latest run.

Being The Luck won a couple of course and distance fixtures last season and took a close runner-up finish on his last effort there. He commands respect.

TARSEEM could be worth watching to see how the market goes with him ahead of this one.

He could have an impact in handicapping now and has had a wind op since his latest effort and could kick on since promising juvenile efforts this season.

Tip: BEGIN THE LUCK 5/1

Ones to watch: Tarseem 7/4, Pay The Woman 11/4

CELTIC ART has caught the eye of the handicapper, but he may have enough to get involved.

It has been two wins in his last three starts for his new connections and claimed a huge positive a couple of weeks ago at Lingfield.

KING OF THE SOUTH could be the pick of the bunch in this one after finding some very good form recently.

He has won six times in AW handicaps and competed a hattrick earlier this season.

There was even better form by him last time out with a second-place finish in s Listed effort at the Winter Derby trial.

PIRATE KING is down 1lb and he could have some reasonable claims in this handicap test.

He was fourth behind winner Celtic Art a couple of weeks ago but had a good chance in it.

Pirate King will likely give another reasonable account of himself.

Tip: KING OF THE SOUTH 13/8

Ones to watch: Celtic Art 7/2, Pirate King 15/2
