Today’s horse racing tips for Monday come from Carlisle and Kempton therefore it is all national hunt picks to kick off the new week.
There are some Class 2 fixtures in all of that and there are some good competitive races to look through as we make six picks.

DAREBIN delivered a nice win with the cheekpieces on in a Fontwell chase three weeks ago. That’s been two decent efforts from him the last twice.
There is course history with him having won this fixture a couple of years ago.
Just because Darebin looks to be back on the up at the moment, he’s worth considering.
FAIRWAY FREDDY picked up a course and distance victory last season, one of three wins that he recorded during the campaign.
His latest run was at course and distance three weeks ago as well when he took third of six.
Fairway Freddy has been eased 3lb and should put together a bold show.
The other shortlisted one for horse racing betting is ROCKSTAR RONNIE who could build on his reappearance effort.
That was at Newton Abbot he collected a couple of novice hurdle wins last season. He may be able to offer a little more progress.

LILLY PEDLAR moves into chasing and she looks as if she has a reasonable chance of getting off the mark at the first time of asking in this sphere.
She won at mares’ novice at Ffos Las in May on her last run.
But earlier this year she took a fantastic third place in a Group 2 handicap at Newbury. Lilly Pedlar could take to the fences well.
ALPHA CARINAE was useful over the hurdles. She needs a little bit of a bounceback performance after not finding her groove at Newbury on her latest.
However, Alpha Carinae does come from a yard that is in fantastic form at the moment.
She is probably going to be a lot sharper for this contest, which is her reappearance.
LOST IN MONTMARTRE picked up an easy win at Hereford last month and because of that has been handed another 4lb. That looks pretty lenient.
That score, delivered with positive tactics, saw Lost In Montmartre continue on in some fine form. But this represents a tougher challenge.

BOREHAM BILL could take the beating in this one as he looks to bring bold claims for this handicap effort on Monday.
He delivered the Lanzarote in January which saw him return to the top of his form.
He didn’t follow up in the Coral Cup, however.
But Boreham Bill has had a reappearance run under his belt, shaping well enough in a trip around Aintree a couple of weeks ago.
He should be sharper for that.
PRESS YOUR LUCK is another big player to consider for horse racing betting on Monday.
He took a runner up finish in a Fontwell handicap a month ago.
If he is back anywhere near that kind of form and mood, then he should be firmly in the mix in this one.
Press Your Luck is a dual winner over the hurdles and has claims.
ANNSAM could have further progress still to come in this sphere. He was really going well a couple of seasons and showed further glimpses of ability last season.
Annsam doesn’t look as if he has quite got his jumping game all together, but there was a score over the fences at Ludlow in December last year. He’s not to be discounted.

MINELLA DRAMA is definitely one for the shortlist in this field as he looks well treated for this contest.
There was an impressive performance from him last time out as well.
Minella Drama shrugged off a 7-month absence by scoring at the 2m trip in a Uttoxeter novice handicap 10 days ago.
It wasn’t the cleanest of jumping performances either. There’s more to come and moving to the right-handed track should be better still for him.
WAR LORD arrives after a win as well. That was on his handicap chase debut at Newton Abbot a month ago.
There was a big jump forward in form and proven ability from him.
There could be a big season ahead from him and War Lord should be in this.
EVIL MAIL is worth considering as well. This is a reappearance run and notably, he claimed a victory at Ayr on the previous seasons’ reappearance effort.
He has looked better over the fences than he ever was over the timbers and was tried at Grade 1 company at Aintree last time out.

FRENCHY DU LARGE has some promise in this one after a good previous campaign over the hurdles. He delivered a win at Ludlow in that.
Frenchy Du Large makes his chasing debut on Monday and looks ideally built for this sphere.
He should be in the mix on his first run since February. As long as he takes the absence he should feature strongly.
FIRST ACCOUNT makes a return to the jumps after having put together a recent campaign on the level.
He stays with the visor as he looks to add to a handicap hurdle success at Perth in July.
IF NOT FOR DYLAN is the other shortlist one as he comes 2lb down since a run at Ayr a couple of weeks ago.
He is still a maiden but his fourth place at Ayr on his latest run had excuses. He may be worth another look in this kind of contest.

This looks like being a good strong competitive fixture and one of the main contenders should be THE OGLE GOGLE MAN.
He will be looking to build on a reappearance win at Kelso last month.
The Ogle Gogle Man has been given a 5lb rise on the back of that four and a half length victory.
He had the opposing STYLISH MOMENT behind in that contest.
There has been a good strong campaign from him since his return and is likely to get heavily involved on Monday at Carlisle.
Another of the big players is likely to be NICEANDEASY who returns on a good mark. He has been away for almost two years.
Niceandeasy does have the back of an in-form yard and can’t be totally counted out of this one.
HEADSCARF LIL is another to watch in the fixture. She took a victory here at Carlisle on her latest run.
That was through a strong finish at the venue. There has been a 3lb rise which looks fair enough given the form in that run, so she could have a say on this trip.
STOLEN MONEY took a very good step of progress on her last run which was back in February. He took a second place finish on the effort and picked up back at the same mark, so he warrants respect.
