MODERN NEWS looks like being the one to beat as he looks to push his progress further.
He arrives after landing a victory at Newbury three weeks ago, always comfortably doing enough to get the score.
The smart gelding looks to have plenty about him and is going to take some stopping coming up in class.
BELL ROCK did pretty well in the Earl Of Sefton at Newmarket, taking a fourth place finish in that one.
He’s down in class now from that one which should put him in good stead for a decent challenge on Monday.
CATCH TWENTYTWO should have plenty of sharpness in the tank after having had a reappearance run.
He had his first run in the UK a month ago, coming home last in the Earl Of Sefton.
He was a dual Graded winner in South Africa and warrants a look.

PEGGOTY may have a say in this fillies contest as she makes her reappearance run.
It’s her first appearance as a 3 year old and she is still a maiden. This is her handicap debut as well, but she looks as if she has potential there.
TOMOUH is also making a reappearance and she is down in grade from her last run, which was at Wolverhampton.
She didn’t get the tactics right on the day and there. On turf Tomouh should be able to get back in the stride of things from fresh.
CUBAN BREEZE is very interesting in this one as William Buick hops in the saddle, which is a big booking.
Cuban Breeze collected a victory at Wolverhampton in March.
While he doesn’t look as if he has much room to work with in the handicapping, a top jockey appointment is fascinating.

ROYAL AVIATION should be a big player on the turf after picking up a win three weeks ago.
That was at Kempton in all weather. But she looked as if she was in great heart and took her form forward with that score.
FOZZIE BEAR is still a maiden but doesn’t look a million miles away from putting together a big run.
He was last seen taking a good fourth place finish at Epsom in a handicap three weeks ago.
Any sort of progress from that could see him get in the frame from this mark.
JOHN O’GROATS comes up to the 1m mark for the first time and he could have an impact.
He is another of the maidens in this field. Working in his favour on the weekend is probably going to be the longer distance and a handicap debut.

KNOTTY ASH could be one to follow in this handicap hurdle action at Southwell on Monday.
He comes onto firmer ground with a decent chance of making the most of the conditions.
Knotty Ash returns from a break and there was a debut win over the hurdles by him at Market Rasen in June last year.
COASTGUARD STATION has gotten better and better with each run since moving yards and landed a course and distance win last month.
That was in a maiden and he looks to be on a very good mark to produce a follow up.
Coastguard Station won that C&D easily and could bring another big performance to the table.
CAPTAIN IVAN is worthy of getting on the shortlist in this one after failing to complete a hattrick at the end of the previous campaign.
He finished the season with a disappointing handicap debut after some good work in the summer.
Captain Ivan is with a new yard now and the tongue tie goes on for the first time.

ENLIGHTEN is well worth a look in this contest after a third at Sedgefield three weeks ago.
He has been in excellent form for a while now and picked up a Sedgefield win in January.
After staying on at 2m last time out, he’ll probably be better on this longer trip.
BRIANNA ROSE has won before at Southwell and she produced a good fourth place finish on her handicap debut in December.
She’s down 4lb from that effort on her return to action. S
he is now weighed very well to have a big say in this contest if she returns sharp.
MARAJMAN hasn’t won since 2020 and has largely been plying his trade over the fences where he has been hit and miss.
He wasn’t great in a chase here at Southwell three weeks ago, so the move to the hurdles looks a decent plus.
The cheekpieces are tried for the first time for Marajman on Monday.

PERCUSSION scored here at Southwell 17 days ago in a handicap chase, aided by some first time gear.
There was a big improvement from him in that one.
He now has a tougher challenge coming up 9lb, but doesn’t look to be out of the picture.
GENERATOR CITY has failed to get home in two of his last three runs. But when he does finish he’s usually in the frame.
He is on a handy mark though and won at Carlisle handicap chase in October to add to victories previously recorded over in Ireland.
DREAMSUNDERMYFEET is the final shortlisted selection for this contest and he is a former course winner.
He was third of five in a handicap at Leicester 117 days ago.
With three wins in his last six and overall good form, Dreamsundermyfeet warrants respect coming up in trip.
