Today’s horse racing tips for Saturday dive into some of the big action that is on the day’s card at Newbury.
That includes the big Betfair Hurdle and the Denman Chase, a couple of top fixtures from pattern company to look forward to.

BROOMFIELD BURG is heading up the racing betting market for this Grade 3 trip on Saturday.
Given the form he has produced this season, he’s likely to be involved.
Broomfield Burg has carded three wins from five efforts this season. The latest was at Kempton on Boxing Day, the second success in novice company.
He is about as progressive of a horse that you could ask to follow and if he continues his trend, then he should be right about there.
JETOILE was a runner up in the Tolworth on his latest effort, giving him some major claims for Saturday.
That was to Constitution Hill who is going to the Supreme Novices at this year’s Festival as a favourite.
That latest result saw Jetoile miss out on a hattrick chance, but he can’t be written out of this after such a strong Grade 1 run last time out.
JPR ONE is unexposed by not without some decent claims of his own either. He has won two of three runs.
Those were novice hurdles scores at Exeter and Taunton, but sandwiched in between that was a runner up finish at Cheltenham in a deep race.
This may be a bit too much too soon for him given his lack of experience, but JPR One is a fascinating entrant.
KNAPPERS HILL could get in this race as well, which is a very competitive renewal. He has plenty of winning experience over the hurdles.
Knappers Hill completed a five-timer in the autumn before seeing that streak end with a loss at Ascot on a 2m trip in December.
That having been said, that form in a Grade 2 Novices’ hurdle was his best yet.

CLAN DES OBEAUX looks to have a solid chance in the Denman Chase. The 2019 winner has been in some excellent form.
The last time he was seen, Clan Des Obeaux was just picked off by King George on Boxing Day.
He’s a top-class chaser who had won his two races before that near-miss in the King George.
Trainer Paul Nicholls isn’t in great form at the moment, but one of his stars could serve him well on the weekend.
ROYAL PAGAILLE could be involved in this as well as long as this doesn’t’ come too soon for him.
He had to exert himself a lot to pick up a win at the Peter Marsh at Haydock three weeks ago.
That was a tough race but should be close in this one before he goes to the Gold Cup.
ELDORADO ALLEN fills out the shortlist as he looks the best of the rest coming back up on a trip.
He’s run well in all three efforts this season including winning the Haldon Gold Cup at Exeter.

FUNAMBULE SIVOLA picked up four wins last season and made a return to winning ways last time out.
That was in a Doncaster handicap a couple of weeks ago. He could still have a lot more to come and rivals will be foolish to let him dictate from the front.
SCEAU ROYAL returns to chasing after a tame effort in the International Hurdle on his latest run. But he can’t be written off in this sphere.
Sceau Royal won last year’s edition of this race and it wouldn’t be any kind of surprise to see him get things back together over the fences.
HITMAN has taken the runner up spot in the last two. He isn’t the easiest to catch at the right time, but he retains a lot of promise in chasing.
His course and distance second-place finish in the Tingle Creek last time out gives him a chance on the weekend.

EWARDSTONE gets a run out ahead of a Cheltenham Festival challenge in the Arkle. He hasn’t let up in his current form.
Edwadstone completed a hat trick last time out.
Given that he picked off the equally impressive Third Time Lucki at Sandown in the Henry VIII, he should have a big chance here to extend his form.
THIRD TIME LUCKY is another cracking horse who has won three of his four efforts this season.
He went a little too aggressive in matching up against Edwardstone in the Henry VIII.
But he comfortably returned to form by winning at Doncaster. There’s more to come from him.
FOR PLEASURE and BRAVE SEASCA don’t quite look as if either will have enough. Of them, the latter would be the option to go with to expect an upset in this field.
Brave Seasca rattled off a hat trick last time out with a course and distance handicap. This is a lot tougher though.

CELEBRE D’ALLEN is seeking to complete a hattrick bid when he steps into action on Saturday.
He had a couple of trips over the Haydock hurdles in December after a break of 2 years away.
He’s been pushed up 9lb for a return to the fences.
JACAMAR has been eased 1lb and that puts him on the radar for horse racing betting in this one.
The cheekpieces went on for the first time when he picked up a score at Kempton on his penultimate run.
A good fifth-place finish at Cheltenham to follow up sees him arrive in good heard.
CHEDDLETON is another that could get in the frame here as he is moved up in trip.
He is still looking to get off the mark for the first time over the fences this season but has put in some credible efforts in decent conditions.
Cheddleton has been knocking on the door and may get there.

INDEFATIGABLE rattled the crossbar at Cheltenham last time out and if she’s anywhere back near that kind of form is an obvious threat.
She had opened the season with a victory in a Grade 2 at Wetherby.
Indefatigable won this race two years ago and has a reasonable chance of another success.
MARIE’S ROCK didn’t’ complete when she went to Lanzarote, but that was a blip on an otherwise fine record.
She had been hampered by a faller early in the contest and was left with too much to do.
But she had scored at Kempton in December and that’s the form that should be focused on.
WHITEHOTCHILIFILI and GET A TONIC both to look as if they have plenty to try and find against some high-class opposition.
It’s unlikely that either of them are going to have enough in the tank to cause an upset on these terms.
