He picked up two wins from three runs last year and is targeting a hattrick. The most recent run that he had was 48 days ago at Wolverhampton.

Water Of Leith steps into his handicap debut now and should have plenty more to come.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

SECRET HANDSHEIKH is a big threat having also claimed back to back race wins.

Those were scores at Southwell in recent weeks. The second of those recent wins show a lot of improvement from him so he is on the right track.

CHARLIE FELLOWES scored at a hattrick in 2020 and the final one of those was a 6f effort at Southwell.

He stays with the cheekpieces which has helped him so much and does have claims.

TWILIGHT HEIR has the most to find in this one. This is his first run after a fourth-month break and was poor on his last effort.

On his first effort this year, he went over a 1m tip at Southwell and produced his best race.

Crackling did just miss out on the victory in that effort though, but it was an eye-catching performance.

He lost by a head. This is a pretty similar contest and therefore we expect him to be right back in the frame.

ACCOMPLICE is a former course and distance winner and therefore commands a bit of respect in this fixture.

It has been two wins for her in her last three efforts. She picked up a course and distance victory 8 days ago.

The handicapper is right on her now, but Accomplice is our 9/2 pick to oppose the favourite* (betting odds recorded 19:29 GMT on Friday, 12th February 2021 at William Hill).

NOBEL PEACE arrives on the back of a victory as well. He won here at Lingfield 10 days ago in the field of 8.

He won’t be bothered by the return to the 1m trip but Nobel Peace is going off a revised mark that is going to mean further progress is needed.

The 9/4 market leader is STOPNSEARCH for this longer trip at Lingfield* (betting odds recorded 19:29 GMT on Friday, 12th February 2021 at William Hill).

There has been an improvement from him this season and he has bagged three course wins in his career as well.

The latest effort that he had was here at course and distance just 10 days ago and Stopnsearch knocked on the door there with a second-place finish by a short head only.

A 2lb rise isn’t likely to disrupt him.

UK Racing Odds & Tips

CAPLA CRUSADER should feature strongly in this race as well. He arrived on the back of a course and distance handicap score two weeks ago.

He just got himself to the front and dominated things from there, making all. Capla Crusader is hit with a 7lb rise but he has 3lb in hand and is the favourite.

CONVERTIBLE is the other obvious selection in this contest which looks really competitive.

Convertible scored a 1m handicap debut win at Redcar in November.

To follow up he hit a place finish at course and distance and with Ryan Moore booked, he could have a chance.

She is seeking to complete a hattrick on what will be her tapeta debut. She does take on a 6lb rise for her big burst of form.

The second of those recent victories was at a 7f trip at Kempton just a week ago. The first was at Salisbury and Arafi set the standard here.

LOVE DESTINY should be right there in the mix as well because he has rediscovered some good form this season.

Having landed a double he did blow his lines a bit on seeking the hattrick at Lingfield on a 7f trip last time out.

He was below his best there but could respond on his tapeta debut.

CRITICAL THINKING has finished second in each of his last three runs so it would be no surprise to see him get back in the mix.

The latest run that he had was here 12 days ago at course and distance. Critical Thinking was beaten by 2l but there are place claims once again by him.

He has just been in fantastic form for the last 12 months or so. He scored a win at Chelmsford City 22 days ago after getting up well.

That’s four wins in his last six runs now and on his tapeta debut, he brings very strong claims. Tone The Barone is ling up as the one to beat with a 2lb rise

VENTUROUS is also in hot form after having recorded a double.

He is thriving with four wins in his last five runs now and he scored at Newcastle 32 days ago.

That came after a course and distance handicap win. So there’s more than enough there to warrant a good look.

We think Venturous is worth a shot at 3/1* (betting odds recorded 19:29 GMT on Friday, 12th February 2021 at William Hill).

Another strong contender is LIHOU who has a very good winner. There was a victory for him 33 days ago at course and distance.

He really pushed on well there to get that score. Lihou is still improving and won’t be out of the picture in this strong contest.

He was last seen two weeks ago when he took a good solid third place finish in a Lingfield handicap at 10f. He should be back in the frame.
