Today’s horse racing tips for Saturday feature some exciting action including the Hackwood Stakes and the Aphrodite.
Most of the day’s top action comes from Newbury where there are some great cards to look through.

HAPPY ROMANCE was the winner of last year’s Hackwood, getting the score by a neck over Diligent Harry.
There have been some competitive efforts from Happy Romance recently.
She ran with credit in the Platinum Jubilee at Royal Ascot and in the July Cup.
This is a stronger renewal of the Hackwood than the last term, however, and she faces some very stiff competition.
ROHAAN is on the radar for Hackwood Stakes tips as he had a massive return to form last time out.
He put in a great shift at the Wokingham during Royal Ascot to win that particular race for the second time.
Rohaan’s season was quiet before he exploded back into life last time out, and a follow-up should get him very close.
CHIL CHIL warrants some respect from longer in the odds as he comes in fresh for the first time since September.
Chil Chil is a top sprinter at this distance.
The fact that she’s been away for so long may not be too big of a concern as she’s gone well fresh before.
RUN TO FREEDOM is the other key contender in his one as he was disgraced in the Platinum Jubilee last time out.
The fixture was way too hot for him, but he had a terrific Listed score at Windsor before that. He’s not to be discounted.
One final one for the Hackwood shortlist on Saturday for racing tips is MAN OF PROMISE.
His form from Dubai earlier this year gives him a great chance.
So does a return to a more favourable 6f trip. Man Of Promise rates as a big danger to this field.

FRANCKY DU BERLAIS is probably going to come into this contest strongly as he has had a decent season.
He was the winner of last year’s renewal of this from just 2lb lower.
A win at Uttoxeter in April and third here at Market Rasen last time out sees him in a competitive mood.
LA DOMANIALE has had a tremendous season, winning two of three runs so far.
The switch to the fences is really working out for her this season. The latest of her wins was delivered at a slightly shorter distance at Uttoxeter 11 days ago.
La Domaniale is a superbly fluent jumper and has to be back in the frame as she comes up in grade.
TEXARD is seeking a hattrick after running into some hot form recently. He will be under a 5lb penalty on Saturday.
On Wednesday he put in an eye-catching run to boss things from the front at Uttoxeter around this distance.
Texard has really come into his own the last two times and there is potentially a lot more to come from him.
One more for the shortlist is MAHLER’S PROMISE who took a course and distance win a month ago.
That doubled his chasing tally and offered connections plenty of encouragement.
Mahler’s Promise is handed an extra 5lb but place claims are there for this consistent 7-year-old.

CADILLAC should be right in the mix in this small field on Saturday at Newbury.
He has looked better and better recently and scored at listed effort at Leopardstown in June.
Cadillac followed up in similar type of form when he took a good runners-up spot to Dubai Future in the Wolferton Stakes at Royal Ascot.
Cadillac will step into his first run for a new yard on Saturday and has some big claims.
GROCER JACK is not to be counted out of this though as he won a couple of Group 3 contests last year.
He has switched to Willie Haggas this term and has shown some promise.
Grocer Jack gets his first spin on British soil here and is interesting.
TASMAN BAY may be the best of the rest in this small field as he looks to improve upon a very loose effort in the Wolferton Stakes.
There was a good season from him the last term, with plenty of progress shown.
Win purposes may be a stretch, but a sound effort isn’t out of the question.

ETERNAL PEARL has progressed well this season under the watchful eye of Charlie Appleby.
She got off the mark last time out when she produced a hot turn of speed to dominate at Kempton.
The win was by more than seven lengths after she had taken her foot off the gas. This is a tougher contest at a higher grade, but Eternal Pearl has some claims.
MUKADDAMAH was a fourth-place finisher in the Ribblesdale at Royal Ascot last month.
It was a cracking run and any kind of repeat performance is likely to get him back in the frame. Mukaddamah has plenty of further potential to unlock.
DARLETABLE YOU may have a shot in this one if she can keep on the way that she has been going this season.
She took a win at Windsor back in April on her reappearance after a year away.
Darlectable You then took a very good third in a Haydock Group 3 last month.

ROCK EAGLE makes a move up in distance for this one and has his sights lowered in this one after a run in the Ascot Stakes last month in which he was eighth.
That was his second run of the season and his reappearance had come after 14 months away from the action. He is on the kind of mark from which he can threaten.
GOING GONE was fourth in the Ascot Stakes last month, well ahead of Rock Eagle.
Form from that effort has been franked since then. Going Gone comes up 2lb and this is a shorter trip which will also suit him well. He is likely to make his presence felt.
DIAMOND BAY gets on the shortlist for horse racing tips after taking a good runners-up spot at Salisbury just over three weeks ago.
He returns at the same mark. A move back to the 2m trip is likely to help Diamond Bay’s cause a bit as well. He can get in the frame if he’s back in the same mood.

MARIA BRANWELL has looked a good one so far after winning her first two outings.
There was a third place finish for her at Royal Ascot in the Queen Mary last month.
That was another excellent performance by Maria Branwell and she looks to be going places.
ROGUE SPIRIT is one to watch for horse racing tips as well, with two wins in three efforts so far.
There was a winning effort made at Beverley and scored well at Wolverhampton 26 days ago to double his tally.
MIAMI GIRL looks to have plenty of potential having won two of her four runs so far.
The win on her debut, delivered at Newmarket, was highly impressive.
She has been tried at Listed level which didn’t quite work out but was right back in form winning at Windsor last time out.
