Today’s horse racing tips look at a big day from Ascot and Haydock as we have some top Grade action on the list.
The highlight of the day is the Betfair Chase (Grade 1) from Haydock, but there is also plenty of excitement with the Ascot Hurdle and the Chanelle Pharma 1965 Chase from Ascot.
It’s a fantastic day of horse racing and there are six selections that we have for Saturday’s racing tips.

Race Preview
The Betfair Chase from Haydock is the pinnacle of Saturday’s horse racing action.
It is A PLUS TARD who is the current market leader in racing betting to take the Grade 1 win.
A Plus Tard is a high quality one and barely ever puts a foot wrong. He was last seen at the Cheltenham Gold Cup in which he took a second-place finish.
There has been a success at Grade 1 from the Irish chaser before and is, head and shoulders, the highest-rated runner in this one and he comes from a winning yard too.
BRISTOL DE MAI will be looking for yet another success in the Betfair Chase.
He took the score last time for the third time in his career. He will have been targeting this one.
It’s hard to imagine that Bristol De Mai will be anything less than superbly tuned up for another bold bid.
He benefits from his top yard being in superb current form.
NEXT DESTINATION is the other that gets on the shortlist for this contest.
He is a Grade 1 hurdler and came on leaps and bounds for Paul Nicholls last season.
There was a second-place finish for Next Destination in the National Hunt Chase at Cheltenham last time out and looks to have a lot more to offer in this sphere.
Next Destination has the cheekpieces on for the first time.

14:25 Haydock Stayers’ Handicap Hurdle Horse Racing UK Tips
Race Type: Grade 3 handicap hurdle
Age: 4 year olds plus

Race Preview
We stay in Grade action for this one from Haydock in what could shape up to be a wonderfully competitive race. This looks wide open.
RIGHT PLACE RIGHT TIME warrants some respect after picking up a 3m win at Fairyhouse three weeks ago.
That was a comfortable success for him on just his third run for his new yard.
That was easily a career-best and any kind of follow up from Right Place Right Time should put him in this one.
Another clear shortlist contender is RIGGS who goes from the bottom of the weights.
His case will have been helped out by having had a reappearance run under his belt at Aintree a month ago.
It was a credible enough run and he should strip fitter.
ORBYS LEGEND can’t be counted out of this one, although question marks are there over his stamina.
He landed the Silver Trophy at Chepstow 42 days ago and could be a player if he stays the trip.
ANother that warrants respect is FLIGHT DECK who comes up 3lb after a victory at Wetherby on his reappearance a month ago.
He’s a superb hurdler, winning three of his four over the timbers.
Not only that, form from his Wetherby win has been franked and could show will again on Saturday.

14:05 Ascot Chanelle Pharma 1965 Chase Horse Racing Tips & Odds
Race Type: Grade 2 chase
Age: 4 year olds plus

Distance: 2m 5f
Race Preview
Another top fixture of the day with a small yet high-quality field taking on this Grade 2 run. DASHEL DRASHER is an excellent, positive front runner.
There was the completion of a hattrick from him last time out, taking a Grade 1 win at course and distance over Master Tommytucker.
That Ascot Chase win puts him right in this one and he has a decent track record from fresh to boot.
DEFI DU SEUIL saw his form peter away last season. He was nowhere near his best on a couple of runs. So he needs to bounce back.
But this is the sort of trip at which he should thrive.
If the break has rejuvenated him, then he is quality enough to get in the frame. Defi Du Seuil has had a wind op during his break.
LOSTINTRANSLATION is another big player in this one who returns after a wind op.
He couldn’t hit top gear last season, but during the 2019/20 season, he landed the Betfair Chase and went close in the Cheltenham Gold Cup.
That previous form gives him a chance if he is back in the right frame of mind.

We should get a cracker in the Ascot Hurdle as BUZZ and GOSHEN take each other on, but the picture goes even deeper than that.
BUZZ should certainly be a big player as he was super progressive over the timbers last year.
He has been sharpened up ahead of this with a spin on the level 42 days ago, winning that Cesarewitch run.
Back in April, Buzz took on this distance at Aintree and landed a second-place finish. He should be right in the frame.
GOSHEN took a superbly high-class win in the Kingwell at Wincanton in the last campaign.
But surprisingly never kicked on for the rest of the season.
Goshen can’t be dismissed early however and he comes up in distance for this one.
SONG FOR SOMEONE won this last year but concedes a hefty 6lb to the progressive Buzz which could make it difficult for him.
Song For Someone still commands plenty of respect on his reappearance.
So too does MOLLY OLLYS WISHES who picked up a score at Wetherby in a Listed contest on her reappearance three weeks ago.
She was in cracking form last season and is effective over trips like this so place claims are there.

15:15 Ascot Handicap Chase Horse Racing Odds

AMOOLA GOLD looks like a big player in this one as he gets the cheekpieces on for the first time.
He was in great shape last season and picked things straight back up on his reappearance.
Amoola Gold struck a win at the course and distance three weeks ago after a break of eight months.
He takes on an extra 4lb but rates as a danger.
SKY PIRATE has a good encouraging reappearance run with a second-place finish in a 2m handicap at Cheltenham a month ago.
Connections moved him to 2m last season and Sky Pirate thrived there. He’s a player.
BEFORE MIDNIGHT looks like the other obvious shortlist selection for horse racing betting.
He beat Sky Pirate at Cheltenham comfortably a month ago on what was his reappearance.
That also secured a hattrick for Before Midnight.
The handicapper has given him an 8lb on the back of that Cheltenham success, but he still looks like having a lot more in him in this sphere.

MARTHA BRAE could feature strongly in this one despite being 8lb up from a win at Exeter 18 days ago on her reappearance.
She had been very well supported in that one and delivered the odds.
If she’s in the same kind of mood then there’s a strong possibility of a follow-up.
EMMPRESIVE LADY was nice and progressive over the hurdles last season. She was excellent to take a runner up in a 3m handicap last winter.
Coming back up on a trip following a Haydock misfire in April, she should be right about there.
GET THE APPEAL is another who warrants some respect. The cheekpieces go on for the first time and her cause will be helped by a 7lb claimer.
Get The Appeal has been heading in the right direction over the hurdles and takes a drop in the ratings on the switch back to the timbers.
